Well, hello there. I used to have my real name posted on my profile, but then I realized how idiotic that was even though my name is incredibly common. Feel free to send me a private message anytime. I may be an introvert, but I love talking to new people, especially in writing.
My aspiration to become a writer started in second grade when this boy in my class and I were sort of having a competition to receive the most points in Accelerated Reader. He and I had the highest reading capability in that class, but he wound up winning. Although, I'm proud to say that even though I don't attend that school anymore, I possess the point record. Anyway, when I was in fourth grade, I managed to win first place for a local writing competition where you were supposed to write an ending for a short story the editors had made up. This, as well as A.R., cinched my passion for writing.
Personally, my favorite book genre is fantasy. Enthralling tales, mystical creatures, and a superb plot that has the ability to lure you right in. Reading, in my opinion, is an escape from reality. You can imagine traveling over the sparkling, saliferous ocean while riding on the back of a beautiful dragon with gleaming scales and the warm sun blazing on your back, eliciting a carefree, vivacious mood. Or, perhaps, you could envision yourself struggling to gain the upper hand in a ferocious battle against bizarre creatures with your fellow comrades in an attempt to protect your kingdom. Maybe you would prefer to get thrown into a story full of lethal and irresistible vampires that lead you on a journey full of romance, adventure, and maybe even a little danger. The possibilities are practically endless. If I happen to read a book that doesn't contain fantasy elements, it's bound to have mystery, crime, adventure, and similar elements in it. Unless, of course, a teacher assigns a mandatory biography report.
By far, my favorite book series is The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. He was one of my writing inspirations and I just fell in love with his books. Although, I must admit, the last book in the series left much to be desired. Another series I adore are Richelle Mead's novels in The Vampire Academy Series. Sure, the descriptions in the action scenes could have been a bit better, but I just love the humor and wit that's scattered throughout the books, particularly by Rose. Another series, a very popular one, I have enjoyed are the Harry Potter books. J.K. Rowling did an excellent job with tying up loose ends and making it so events were all connected in a surprising manner. In my lifetime, I have read a plethora of books and series, so if you're wondering what are some good books to read, I certainly wouldn't mind composing a list of books.
While I'm a very persnickety eater, I'm not too picky with relationship pairings. However, there are some pairings I utterly despise and pairings I like seeing or reading about more than others. Here's my list...

I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you appreciate them when they're right, you believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

When I was five years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life.

Yeah? Can you draw a skeleton riding a motorcycle with flames coming out of it? And I want a pirate hat on the skeleton. And a parrot on his shoulder. A skeleton parrot. Or maybe a ninja skeleton parrot? No, that would be overkill. But it'd be cool if the biker skeleton could be shooting some ninja throwing stars. That are on fire.
