An artist does not live life, he dissects it.
I'm Doomknight1of24, and I hail from Sweden, though I grew up in Germany. But as you can see, all the stuff I write is in english. That's for no other reason than the fact that I like the language.
I write because I like to, and I often chicken out of it because I am as lazy as a half brick. I have no trouble thinking of stuff, the writing-down is the most tricky part for me. Also, I tend to be overcritical with my wording, and I'm never satisfied in the end. I know, right? F#?@ my life.
I'm usually a rather slow writer, but that's something I'm working on. Also, I'm currently pretty busy with a school project that is probably going to take the whole year to complete. So prepare for long update-delays.
By the by, my brother DreamerOfTheFlowingDream started on fanfiction recently as well, so check his stories out. One more thing: he wrote on is profile that my stories are probably better than mine. Don't trust him. He's pretty good himself. Here's a link to his profile:
The price of experience is innocence.
While I'd be the first one to say that I'm no world-class writer, I can rightly say that I'm a picky reader. So if you have had a story (or sumfink') reviewed by me, then that means that I made you the greatest compliment I am capable of giving.
And yes, I took the name from AQWorlds. I happened to like it at the time. Sue me.
...Now that I think about it, please don't.
"Listen. When you kill someone, you take away his present. The next breath he is about to take. The next blink of his eye. The next beat of his heart. The next thought, flashing in his brain.
That's what he is. What we all are. Because we are not the men we used to be, or the men we could have become. We are the men we are now. The breath you are taking is all that you are, and the moment that it leaves you will be the moment you die."
When I die, plant a tree on my grave. And when that tree is grown, cut it down and make a book out of it. Just leave the pages blank. So that someone can write in it.
