Author has written 6 stories for Left 4 Dead, Pokémon, Vocaloid, and Don't Starve.
It feels like lifetimes since I last came here. This site, I mean. I look at my old stories, published so proudly a few years ago, and the nostalgia brings up equal parts bittersweet joy and repulsion. 'My greatest work,' I read aloud from the bloated paragraphs and cringe, half cross-eyed from the grossly congested paragraphs and conversations with myself in the narration. Then I dunk my head in cold water and pray that when I open my eyes, I will realize that I clicked on some other author's profile and that this crap could never have possibly been forged with my own hands.
From what I'm told, everyone has a story that warrants a similar response. Then I cry and die a little inside.
I'm not back. Not really, anyway. I don't expect my same audience to have stuck around all this time, and it's probably just as well. Life goes on, people come and go. I came, I left, and I came back again, lost momentarily in my own thoughts as I think back on my cocky little punk self that needed a shoe embedded in his groin as much as he did a lesson in how to voice one's thoughts without using emoticons in context. (Christ, the emoticons.)
Long story short, I'll be around. I might never touch this thing again, I might make this my vacation home away from Tumblr. In the meantime, I hope some of my works are satisfying for you. Spit some critique at me, I love the attention.
Oh, and improvement. Yeah. That can happen. Sometimes. Maybe.
