I'm currently in my third year of university and I can tell that some of my readers - if you still visit this page, it HAS been years and I'm sorry - are probably rolling their eyes right now, going, "Oh, so she can update her profile page, but she can't update her stories?" Yeah, I kinda suck. :/ HOWEVER, I'm pursuing a BA in Creative Writing right now and in a few years, I'd like to go to law school. And in between this time period and the last time I updated any stories, life kind of blew up in my face. I lost the will to do a lot of things, including write. But I do plan on coming back and give ALL of my stories a massive overhaul, even the completed ones (if I don't delete those ones; they're so cringe-worthy, oh, my God, what was I thinking?), and if any of my readers still exist, let me know and I'll give you all some major shout outs. Also, I'm turning more and more to experimental writing styles and I'm not sure how that will turn out on this website, but we will find out. I'm also making poetry my emphasis and if anyone is interested, I'll be posting some of those on my AO3 account - which I am very inactive on as well and will soon be changing that. "Fan fiction is what literature might look like if it were reinvented from scratch after a nuclear apocalypse by a band of brilliant pop-culture junkies trapped in a sealed bunker. They don’t do it for money. That’s not what it’s about. The writers write it and put it up online just for the satisfaction. They’re fans, but they’re not silent, couch bound consumers of media. The culture talks to them, and they talk back to the culture in its own language." Just your typical carefree, clever Slytherin who will destroy you if you mess with her Hufflepuff friends. :) |
