Durarara!!, D. Gray-man, Death Note, Bleach, Naruto, Pandora Hearts, Kimi ni Todoke, Full Metal Alchemist, and so much more!
I usually love to read, but I do like to write sometimes too. As of right now I'm working on a Gil/Oz story for Pandora Hearts.

There was a big discussion on whether Gil was gay or not a while back...
And a lot of people said, "No, of course not!" But before I even got into the fandom, I've always thought that Gil was in love with Oz... As well as it being quite obvious. I was surprised when I saw some of the negativity directed towards the pairing.
These are my random thoughts on the matter:
-It's just the way Gil is. Everything that he does is for Oz. Oz means everything to him. He was brought to the Vessalius household as a lost servant, but grew with Oz and became his most precious friend. To Gilbert, that friendship was his life, his reason for living and his place to belong. What else did he have? Taking into account that he never really interacted with anyone other than Oscar (which always included Oz somehow), Oz was the only thing he could cherish.
-He has shown absolutely no interest in other girls. He blushes only for Oz, haha! When I heard that Gil/Ada was shipped, I had to raise an eyebrow at that. Ada's "mystery love" is Vincent. The hat situation is sweet and everything, but: Didn't Ada give Gilbert the hat when Oz was gone? She's his sister! A member of the home that took him in as a child, and a friend that he grew up with. If it were Oscar who gave him the hat, don't you think that he'd be just as protective of it? (even though he was kind of avoiding him then)
-Gilbert is entirely devoted to Oz. It's argued that he only feels that way because Jack was his previous master, but didn't Jack say it himself when Gil asked, "Nope" ? Of course he was, but in that statement, wasn't Jack answering to the question, "Am I with Oz only because of you?" That's how I interpret it. Gilbert was afraid that "the place that he belonged," which was by Oz's side, was only because of his connection with Jack. But Jack refutes that.
-Also, I'm very curious about chapter 33 and St. Belligeron Day. First, with Gilbert & Vincent's conversation: near the beginning, Vincent says, "For your master, who is most important to you... You have to hurry back and give him the gift of a beautiful blue feather." Then later, when Oz gives Echo a green feather, she blushes and though doesn't say exactly what it represents, she makes it obvious that giving a feather on that day signifies love/attraction. It reminded me of D.N.Angel, where on St. White's Day, a boy is supposed to give a white ribbon to the person he likes the most. So wasn't Vincent implying that he return home quickly to show Oz how much he loves him? (BTW I don't know if the feather colors mean different things, but they seem to come down to the same thing).
-Gil's conflict over killing Alice. It's all because "she's the one who wants to snatch his precious master away" that he's so troubled. He seriously thinks about killing Alice, even though she's become a friend, to protect Oz. Because of course if he lets her live on, Oz will be taken away from him in the end.
-I've seen Gil in a dress far too many times to believe that he's not just a LITTLE bent.
-In the omakes, people have argued that Gil in all of his gayness was just fanservice (Gil in a short maid outfit, Gil as a teacher obviously crushing on student!Oz blushing/speechless when Oz was on top of him, wanting a picture of Oz half naked) ... But fanservice doesn't mean that the entire character is changed. They took Gil's principle personality (or aspect of his character) and glorified it... into the gayest thing since Grell from Kuroshitsuji.
-Gilbert is good at "all housework" according to the Character Profiles. Housewife much?
-Gil's character song.
And, well, I don't know, I love the Gil/Oz subtext. However I look at him, Gil comes out as a tragic character setting himself up for an unrequited heartache. But everyone has their own, different opinions. For me, whenever Gil is written and drawn into the story, I feel like he's one of the most loving characters I've ever read about. I just can't think of him otherwise.
If anything, Gil/Oz is perfect to ship non-canon wise.
I REALLY love Gil/Oz! I don't really know why, but I just do!
