Author has written 3 stories for Babylon 5, Sandman, and Kuroshitsuji.

I subscribed to exactly ten years ago. I was a total geek back then, and teh interweb was a shiny new thing, like a lush garden of Eden for me to explore. So I read fanfictions and roleplayed - a longlasting passion of mine - and concocted weird scenarios for my fave characters to enact... and then I was too chicken to actually publish them, or when I did, I failed to finish them, LOL. And then gradually I forgot about it, as young people are bound to do, and kind of moved on. I never forswore my passions, but the urge to read and write about them spontaneously died off at some point.

Fast-forward 10 years. Many things have changed in my life but I am still as geeky as ever, and proudly so. SF and fantasy, manga and anime, roleplaying and comics and computer gaming still provide a much-needed fuel to my imagination, and with the Internet now a solid presence in everybody's life, the fandom feels closer and more lively than ever.

It just so happens that someone drops a link to a fic somewhere in a forum, and I click on it without even thinking. And I go ...Wow, doesn't this site look familiar? Can it truly be the very same ? OMG yes, it's still here... and guess what? My old account's still here too!

I have been reading words I have written a full decade ago, and it feels like when they unearth the time capsule in those funky nostalgic American movies. I have drifted away from some fandoms so much that I don't even get my references anymore, but others are still very close to my heart - the Sandman collab still brings tears to my eyes - and of course there are new ones that got to mean a lot to me nowadays. And damn it, how could I ever forget the thrill of committing my fantasies to a keyboard and my very wobbly English?

...Yes, it looks like this place will have to serve as my brain dump for a few more years.

You lucky ... :p
