Author has written 4 stories for Twilight, and Merlin.
I've become so ridiculous that I take back everything I've ever said, whatever that amounted to.
Soooo, that leaves...
I didn't know about fanfiction...barely read contemporary fiction at all, was living in the Victorian era all comfy with my Dickens - until about two years ago. Life twisted and I somehow found myself with a copy of Twilight in my hands. And then I was pregnant and single and there was this INTERNET THING...and long story short, here I am!
I started out reading and writing E/B fics, but I'm a lesbian so it was only a matter of time before I got curious about slash. With a couple exceptions, I haven't looked back since I read my first m/m story. I'm still skittish about f/f slash merely because it's too close to reality for me and a desire to dwell on reality is clearly not why I'm here. Most of the (very little) het I read now involves men who are turned into women, idk, because it's subversive? That's the big question, isn't it?
I've also (mostly, not entirely) moved on from twilight fic. Merlin and Sherlock are my current obsessions, but I am easily enticed into almost any kind of smut and thanks to LJ have discovered a whole world of not-FFn-approved-HOLY-SHITE. My writing is sporadic and so I try not to post things in progress. That only leads to heartbreak. My E/B story is over the top romantic, so be warned. The rest are slash or...well, Needed Touch is pre-slash, but that probably isn't obvious and mostly irrelevant.
I've got some stuff over on LJ that I can't post here bc it's RPF or just rambling. Over there I'm mab-di dot livejournal dot com
What else can I tell you? I'm a single, working mother. I'm a policy lawyer who once upon a time wanted to be a writer. My work is incredibly important to me, but I miss writing creatively and this is so much FUN!
Oh, and I have a serious time-management problem since I discovered twitter. If you want to chat over there, send me a PM. I'm always happy to meet fanfic readers and writers. I've gotten nervous about advertising my userid on the slim chance that certain RL people find me here. You know how that is.
