Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, Les Miserables, and Lord of the Rings.
Update on life (3/25/14): One more chapter and we're done with the Fellowship. Really. Just one more.
Working on: A truly epic fight scene between Hermione and Dolohov to finish off The Fellowship of the Ring in Diplomacy. Also I'm halfway done the next chapter of Cafe.
Reading:Divergent. I admit it, I was hooked by the movie trailer and I wanted to read to books.
Watching: One Night With the King. Not bad. Not great, but also not bad. It's about King Xerxes of Persia and Queen Esther and Jews and as a German by ancestry and a German-speaker and someone generally interested in Germany I spend a significant portion of time watching movies about Jews. This was a pleasant change from the Holocaust but also involves some very dark themes.
Listening to: Gustav Mahler's Resurrection Symphony (No. 2), with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Leonard Bernstein. Even if you're not a classical music fan, I guarantee you'll at least like the finale. (All 90 minutes can be intimidating at first but if you like the finale--and how could you not?--it's definitely worth a listen.) For those of you with less esoteric tastes, I really like Bastille. If you haven't already, check out some of his stuff other than "Pompeii."
