｟❰⦉ After a bit of debate, I changed my name since I want to use this site as a means to collect the thoughts I have sitting in my head. Although, I am too lazy to post long stories, I do like making shorts. Below the dividing line is the content that was more or less the original purpose of my account. ⦊❱｠

Abstract: I have been around fanfiction since AIM was a thing. I check into this site very rarely and I am glad I still have access to it.
Purpose: I created a fanfiction account and still use this account since I often annoy the authors with my commentary. I have grown to be quite a dick and nitpick some stories since I want to understand why a writer wrote the way they wrote.

Thoughts

⁍ It is easier to put on a mask and to protect yourself, whether it be your feelings or experience, through it. But it is harder to understand the character and give it life. “Don't lose yourself in the role you play” because you only get one shot at life, do you really want to spend that time acting as someone else? If you say the first two points contradict each other that's because life is full of contradictions and I'm just one of them a Starburst.

⁍ Sometimes once you finish writing, you notice there are details that can be cut out (ex. describing outfits or appearances when they are not important to the story). However, noting these things is good because once you cut them out you make the story more interesting to the reader. Remember, a reader wants the story and the essential bits that help the story move along.
