Hi I'm HopelessRomantic183! Originally I joined for two reasons. The first being that having this account provides me with a place to list my favorite fan fiction stories and authors without having to take up a ton of folders on my Firefox Bookmarks list and my Internet Explorer Favorites list. My second reason was that I was soooo tired of reading fan fictions where the author asks the readers to read and review and then does not allow any anonymous reviewers to do so. It made me so frustrated because I am a person who is not afraid to tell someone when I really like their work, but it is hard to do so when only members are allowed to state their opinions! I still feel the same way, but I have recently received encouragement from a few people to actually write a story. Currently it is just an extremely short one-shot, but that could change eventually. I have quite a bit of favorites, most of which are currently Inuyasha x Kagome fic's, but there are a few Kisara x Seto, Wes x Jen, and Jak x Keira ones as well. My latest interest is Elsa/Jack Frost. I don't normally ship a non canon pairing, but they just seem so perfect together! Not that I believe Elsa needs a man mind you, but if she did have one I'd love to see her with Jack! I'll likely favorite more pairings as I temporarily gain and lose interest in them so this list could eventually change!

Some info about me: I am 21 years old, even though I don't always act like it, my fav. manga/anime would have to be either Yu-Gi-Oh or Inu-Yasha, and I have one younger sister who is 18, but acts like she's much older.

Some things I like: playing RPG's, reading, watching movies, learning about history (especially ancient history), horseback riding, scuba diving, and swimming in general. I'm also into things like fairies, unicorns, vampires, and dragons, in fact, the Inheritance cycle is one of my favorite series of books (another being Harry Potter).

Pet Peeve's: 1. When fanfiction authors try and change Kagome's hair color to brown in their stories! Her hair color is and always has been Black NOT brown, but lately I've seen more and more authors and even a few artists trying to pass it off as such. I don't know how it started, but look through any one of Rumiko Takahashi's books and you can clearly tell that Kagome's hair is meant to be black, even the anime version has it as such so unless an author justifies the color change by saying that she died it brown, it does eat away at my nerves every time I'm forced to read how Kagome is a brunette! I don't have anything against the color in general, a few of my family members actually have brown hair, but if your going to use a character in your story I think you should at least bother to get their general description right! 2. Inuyasha loses his demonic powers on the night of the New Moon NOT the full moon! A full moon is the time of month when the moon is fully visible and shining in the shy, as can be clearly seen in both the manga and the anime, Inuyasha loses his powers when their is NO moon visible in the sky at all, when the moons dark side, the side that does not reflect the light of the sun, is fully facing the earth. This signifies the beginning of a new lunar cycle, hence the term New Moon! I have read a number of fanfictions where people get these terms mixed up, writing about how Inuyasha loses his abilities during the full moon yet also going on to state that the moon is not visible in the sky during such an occurrence and it can be irritating to see them directly contradicting their words in such a way! 3. Fanfictions new filter system! They are giving us up to 4 plus options to search for but only allows us to exclude 2 characters from the search engines! It is now nearly Impossible to to find a specific paring without having several unwanted ones thrown in or inadvertently excluding great fics that I would actually want to read! Take Inuyasha as an example, If I want to search for an Inu/Kag pairing I only have two options for character exclusion, but Kagome and Inuyasha have FAR more than only two additional pairing options! There are the obvious ones for sure: Sesshomaru and Koga, both of whom people seem to get great pleasure out of pairing Kagome up with, so I normally exclude those two, but it does not leave room to exclude other possible options like Hojo, Inutaisho, Naraku, or Inuyasha's main alternative romantic option, Kinkyho! I am not a huge fan of hers, obviously, for various reasons I'd need a whole page to explain, but since their are often more Inu/Kag fans than Inu/Kink ones, it's often better to exclude Koga and Sess instead. Still that leaves another problem though, I actually like Sesshomaru's character whenever he's not portrayed as OOC and Kagome centric! I enjoy reading stories with Inu/Kag, Sesshy/(older)Rin, Sesshy/Kagura, Miro/Sang, and even Koga/Ayame pairings in them, but because I have to risk putting up with and scanning through several Kagome/... centric tales I have to hope that the authors of such stories have only decide to feature one main pairing in their character description or I actually spend time sorting through stories to find out which are actual Inu/Kag and which have just included Inuyasha or Kagome in the character list because they are featured in and/or bashed in the story, otherwise I risk missing out on some really great fics. It really sets me off sometimes!

Pairings I dislike or just plain don't get: 1. Kikyo/Inuyasha! I just can't stand Kikyo, sometimes an author will write a good enough story with Kikyo in it to make me at least a little sympathetic for her, but that doesn't happen often. When I do find such a fic it usually means Inu/Kink actually weren't a pairing in the story. It's not that I don't understand her, but I just don't think she was ever right for Inuyasha when she was living, she was basically just using him to escape her responsibilities, who knows if she would have even ever married the former hanyou should he have become human! Besides, it's common knowledge that a selfish wish on the jewel always goes wrong and Kikyo's was as selfish as they come. Not only did she try using Inu, but she couldn't even accept him for who he was and of course all the resurrected clay pot Kinkyhoe wants is revenge. She doesn't love Inu, she's in love with the thought of him dying and being dragged to hell for all eternity and nothing more! It's not even like the two could actually spend eternity together in hell, cause incase the Inu/Kink fans have forgotten, or just can't read the big bold writing on the wall, Kinkyhoe's soul is scheduled to be reincarnated into Kagome within the next 500 years or so! If that's not a clear sign of which pairing reigns supreme I don't know what is! I'll stop now before I go off on too long of a rant! 2. Rapunzel/Jack Frost! Now I don't necessarily hate this couple like the first one, I just really don't understand the pairing choice! Rapunzel's married to Eugene! Like I said before, I don't normally support non-canon pairings, but one thing I like about the Jelsa pairing is that both are actually single so it's not like pairing the two of them up will go against any existing canon pairings, as is the case of Rapunzel. For heavens sake, she was heartbroken when Eugene almost died and if the end of the movie didn't confirm that she went on to marry and live happily ever after with Eugene, then the short film Tangled Ever After should have made that crystal clear! However, instead of acknowledging her love for Eugene, people want to break up the happy couple and steal the poor guy's wife away from him, it's a bit sad! 2.1 Then there's this whole new "Frost family" pairing that takes Rapunzel/Jack even further and makes even less sense to me! Actually this one not only confuses the heck out of me, but I actually have a strong loathing for the "family" pairing as well! Putting Jack and Rapunzel together is one thing, it not my fav pairing, but I can respect it. However, seeing Elsa and Anna disrespected and demoted to the status of children after they've evolved into such strong female characters throughout Frozen just makes me cringe! I can accept and even see a possible case for the whole Rapunzel, Elsa, and Anna being cousin's theory that people have come up with, but since it's been shown that the girls do indeed have their own individual parents, hence how the whole cousins theory came about, why would you make Rapunzel, of all people, into Anna and Elsa's mother? Elsa has platinum blonde hair and Anna's is strawberry blonde, how on earth can you produce those colors from Rapunzel? At the end of her movie it's revealed Punz actually has brown hair, it was only blonde because of the powers she inherited from the golden flower, thus unless Rapunzel's passed her healing powers over to her children there's no way Elsa and Anna could be related to her. As for Jack as their father, he's got white hair, originally brown, like his sisters was, but not blonde! Yes, he an Elsa do have Ice powers and blue eyes, Jacks having originally been brown, but Jack alone could have never produced either Elsa nor Anna! Elsa might have come out with blue eyes since it seems Rapunzel's father did have them, thus making Rapunzel a possible carrier, but she would have had to be born with brown or white hair, if not blonde hair and healing powers, to belong to Jack and Rapunzel. As for Anna, neither Rapunzel, her parents, or Jack have strawberry blonde hair, a trait Anna seems to have inherited from her father's side of the family! Thus this whole Anna and Elsa are Jack and Rapunzel's kids makes even less sense to me than pairing Jack with a happily married woman. In all honestly, I almost question whether or not it was done just to spite Jelsa fans, cause as I've stated above, their would be no way for Jack and Rapunzel to genetically produce the two sisters! Besides, Elsa's 21 in her movie while Rapunzel is 18 in hers, if anything Elsa and Jack should be cast as Rapunzel's parents, not the other way around. Even if you used the connection theory for Tangled and Frozen it would make both girls into the same age, thus neither could be either ones mother!

Inuyasha Fans: Wouldn't ever cut a teenager boy's hair if he looked like one of the hotties!

Normal people: Wouldn't know why the wind suddenly blew them over.

Inuyasha Fans: Know it's Kagura having a hissy fit when someone flirts with Sesshomaru.

Normal people: Would suddenly find themselves knocked out when they flirted with Kagome.

Inuyasha Fans: Would know better and would stay away from 'The hanyou's girl' on pain of death and a lot of Inuyasha beatings for being too close to his koishii.
