The worst thing is that due to a few egotistical snowflakes in every corner where women in any significant grouping exist, people that make a point to get along with everyone get pushed into corners by said snowflakes and end up stuck there because they tried to do the 'right and good thing.'
Oh well, life moves on and women will never truly be equal to men because they will forever be more concerned about jockeying for position among themselves. That is the true weakness of women. They allow this 'clique-dom' mentality to continue for the benefit of the self-declared 'chosen ones' rather than lift all up as a matter of strength for the good of all women.

I used to know somebody - somebody on here, actually - that continually loved to say how she hated people.
Personally, I like most people, but then again, I've become much more careful with the type of person that I give my time and effort to these days. There are plenty of good people in this world. If you're still reading this, you most likely are one of them. The others would've bailed out by now.
NOW you understand why I haven't shared as many of my fics as others and why I've been ...less inspired... as of late to post anything. Write? Of course, I'm writing, but that's another matter entirely, isn't it?
"Mastery is in the reaching, not the arriving. It's in the constantly trying to close that gap of where you are and where you want to be. Mastery is about sacrificing for your craft and not for the sake of crafting for your career." Sarah Lewis, writer, TED talk, March 2014
