Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter, Code Geass, Twilight, Artemis Fowl, and Fullmetal Alchemist.
Update 01/13: Both school and tutoring are about to get insane, and there'll be less time to write as I begin to focus more on my studies. (Not being allowed to write also happens to matter.) Sorry.
Updates priority list:
Former PenName(s): NyghthawK, . NyghthawK .
If you want a name to go by... the one on the internet I use a lot is Nyght, but since I've changed my name - keeping the 'N.' as my old name - you can choose any spin-off from my penname you want. I don't mind. And yes, I'm a girl :)
I love reading fanfiction and I'm not too good at writing, but I'll do my best. Crossovers are fun ^^ But as a reader I've noticed a lot of works that are repetitive or bashing, among a lot of other things that aren't very pleasing to go through. So I sat down one day and made a list of stuff I'll always do, no matter what. Here they are:
Nyght's Story Guarantees:
o All stories will have minimum basic grammar. That is, things will be readable and not alphabet soup.
o All characters will be treated equally and there will be no bias from me in my writing. No doing things such as bashing characters just for the sake of bashing them.
o All stories will not be pairing-centric (and those that have them, nothing beyond what is canon) unless specifically stated.
o All crossovers will be taken very, very seriously, and each fandom will have an equal role in the story.
o All story plots/ideas will either be something never done before, an attempt to smash existing story cliches or something interesting in general... so there's no need to worry about boring redundancy from me.
And as said by Whispers of Silence, the best description I've ever heard: "You mess around with plot devices writers won't risk going near for fear of what their readers will do to them - but you're working with them happily and with much aplomb."
Though this is where I have to note that I'm not a cruel writer... to the characters. I write general, sometimes bleeding into drama, but I don't like to go Angst and Tragedy. Unless it's necessary. (I can be plenty cruel when it comes to you wonderful readers though. I really am sorry, really, infinitely, you've done nothing to deserve it, but... hey, pacing is my favourite toy. ^u^;)
~ Immiscibility - HPFMA crossover, Part Two: The King- chapter 28 ("Investigation"), 1 percent
Info: ...It's difficult to describe this story without giving spoilers. All I can say is that it doesn't follow the cliches of the HPFMA fandom as closely as it seems, and watch out for the plot twists! (It does have a convulted timeline, though, but that's because I needed to fulfill every 'never/rarely done before' requirement.)
Status: It's. Getting there. Slowly...
Fanart: Yes, fanart! *o* The lovely sama-chan, made a drawing here:
~ Amor fati - Code Geass fanfic - Chapter VIII, 5 percent
Info: A Code Geass AU where the plot diverges with Genbu's death. Because it was such a huge influence to Suzaku's character in canon, I chose to alter it a little. The end result? A completely accidental role reversal. This is my pride; I'm putting 300% into this, and I can only hope that my efforts will be appreciated ^^
Status: Stuck on Lelouch's marvelous plan and the execution of said marvelous plan in chapters 8-10. Which also concludes the first arc, by the way.
~ Play by Play - Code Geass fanfic - Chapter 3, 15 percent
Info: A little twist on the Lelouch harem generally seen around the place... where it's taken to ridiculous heights, and the pairing results in Lelouch/EVERYONE. Yes. That's right, everyone. I've made plans... :P
Status: I'm more interested in my other Code Geass stories. So, um. Yeah. Feel free to poke me about this, though.
~ Zero Gravity - Code Geass/Twilight crossover - Advent 4 ("Death of a Friend"), 0 percent
~ Double Trouble - Code Geass/Artemis Fowl crossover - Collision 3 ("Mesmerising"), 5 percent
Info: These two fics I consider twins. Well, fraternal twins, since they're similar only in the fact that they're Code Geass crossovers that star characters of all three fandoms being badass. But the important thing is that they're competing with each other for updates. (Of course there's creator bias as well... in that, I'm personally more fond of Double Trouble but you didn't hear that from me ;)
Status: Due to extreme lack of interest in Double Trouble by people other than me, Zero Gravity's the only thing with a chance of being updated now. And it's surprisingly popular.
~ [unnamed] - Detective Conan and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney crossover, in planning
Info: What happens when Kogoro is injured in a traffic accident, and accused of murder to top it all off? Ran and Conan end up staying with Eri, who happens to be the prosecutor for the case and the one who referred Phoenix Wright as defence, but...How will Phoenix react to all of the Psyche-Locks around a seven-year-old kid? And when Conan makes a mistake that jeopardizes his identity, what implications will arise? (It does require some ignoring of canon (rather than LA, Phoenix and co are in Japan) and the fact that Eri is probably a defence attorney, but that's about it...)
This will contain a "finale" to the DC series, and span only about three court cases. :)
Status: Still in-planning. This is more complicated than I thought it'd be.
