Author has written 4 stories for Legend of Zelda.
Gears of Fate: I basically did some housecleaning for the story, creating a new cover (not with MS Paint this time) and a much better summary. I feel like it just sounds more interesting than what I had before. Concerning the chapter itself, a sudden spurt of inspiration (through reading the fine works of fellow fanfictioneer Davin Sunrider, as well was watching the fifth season of Game of Thrones and Hellsing Ultimate) has left the second chapter at just over a thousand words strong. And I'm really satisfied with it, so woo, progress.
General: Welp, school's starting in just over two weeks for me and that means I'm gonna be running myself ragged trying to get better grades than last year. I might be able to find the time and inspiration to work on GoF, but I really have no idea. My school's a hellhole, it leaves me drained, honestly. And on a side note, I realise all the hyperlinks on my profile here don't work, but I believe it pastes the URLs into your address bars so there's that. I'll be fixing it soon by just having the links sit here as plain text though.
PM me with any questions you may have.
Gears of Fate: Well shit, chapter one is live. Oh my god, it's actual progress from me, holy shit. I actually feel pretty good about the content too, short as it might be.
Gears of Fate: Oh boy, the first chapter is done, even though I cut it because it was dragging on too long. I've come to realise I simply can't write 4000 words anymore, it's just too much. Honestly, I have no clue how I managed it before. Anyway, expect it in a while when I'm done editing. Feel free to PM with any questions you may have.
Name Change: A change of scenery, really, not to mention ScooterJLM was a really bad name. RIP, 2010 username, you'll be easily forgotten. If you're curious, Rozen Caeyl is the name of my OC that'll appear in GoF. Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have.
Gears of Fate: While this isn't a progress report, I have a cool bit of news for any of you the least bit interested. I have decided to begin posting GoF on Archive of Our Own (AO3) as well as this site because of their more... accepting attitude towards graphic violence and other themes this site would rather set in its own category. So yes, this is pretty much to get more people reading, lol.
No Goin' Home: While this story won't be posted here as it's an original story of mine, I wanted to let my tiny following know that it will be posted on FictionPress (link below) and on Wattpad (also linked below). I only mention it because that's the reason I have no progress to report on GoF. I've been designing a cover and making sure I release this right, lol.
Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have.

Inspirations and My Writing Style: As I'm sure you've noticed if you've read any of my stories, they're rather... well, violent. I was raised on movies not meant for my age and various other elements of my life have made me attached to not only the physical depths of pain, but pain of that in the mind and soul. From intense action to heartbreaking emotional scenes, I often try to incorporate those things into my writing because it's something I simply enjoy writing about and it's what I know the most. I also strive to take my works in an original direction (sometimes too much so), as you can see by my current work Gears of Fate, a gritty, dark, yet heroic tale of a man with nothing left to lose facing his destiny laid before him by deities long since disregarded. This is in stark contrast to the generally warm and less harrowing tale of a Hylian Hero in the Legend of Zelda, but I believe that reworking the original material into something that the creators wouldn't have done is a core essence of fanfiction. That doesn't mean I wouldn't be able create a more traditional tale, but that's for another time. In regards to my style itself, I work as much detail as I possibly can without robbing the mind's eye the opportunity to create images of its own. Imagery is a very strong component of my writing. My word choice isn't always perfect for the situation as I often overlook that smaller more concise words could convey the message better, but I'm working hard on that. Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading my works, I really do put immeasurable amounts of thinking and time into every word.

Flaunting My Success
It's not much, but to be featured on a site I use for all of my Zelda/Smash news (ZeldaInformer) is truly wonderful, so I'll let you read the articles written about The Doppelganger and The Soul Beneath. Reading all the support the latter got makes me kind of sad to discontinue it, but who knows, maybe I'll reboot it with an actual plan this time. The wounds it was borne of have mostly healed so it'll probably be different though.
The Legend of Zelda: Gears of Fate: An Adventure/Sci-Fi/Fantasy Legend of Zelda story featuring Link, Sheik, and my OC Rozen Caeyl. This story loosely continues the story of Twilight Princess and the Child Timeline, but uses elements from the Defeated Timeline and the Adult Timeline.
Rating: M for dark themes, coarse language, graphic violence, drug use, and possible non-explicit, story relevant sexual content.
The Soul Beneath
Full Summary: Link Hylia has worn the mask for as long as he could remember. He's worn it since his mother died and wears it to this very day. Two weeks at summer camp won't change it, he'll simply go through the motions of monotony. He just wasn't expecting a girl to take interest, to manage to peel back a corner of the mask and see the face beneath. The soul beneath.
Full Summary: Long ago, Hyrule was a golden land, filled with castles, fairies, and mythical Heroes. But that land is gone. Ages have passed, during which Hyrule has developed into a technological society, filled with pirates, drugs, and weapons. Faith in the Goddesses and the old ways have all but vanished. War wages on land and in the sky between the Gerudo and the Hylians while Sky Pirates raid unsuspecting merchant ships and warships alike, stealing anything they can get their hands on. Sky Ship Captain, Link Hylia does the same as the rest: he raids steals and plunders land and sky with his crew of the Sky Galley class ship Courage. One day, a violet-eyed woman changed his life forever. With the help of an unexpected friend, old legends will see the light of day once more and the Triforce will choose new owners.
