In case anyone is curious about the profile pic, that is my name in Arabic. At least that is what I was told it is, hopefully I didn't waste my money and got an insult or something offensive written in henna. If it is did my deepest most sincere apologies, did not mean to insult or offend. Which means a certain henna artist that works for large theme park company in Florida needs to be fired immediately.
Movies: Action/Adventures, Horror (especially ones with vampires & werewolves, simply LOVE those), SciFi, Suspense/Thriller/Mysteries, Comedies, Family Comedies and Romantic Comedies... ;-Þ
Books (not an avid reader, but here's what I've read so far in my lifetime): *"Twilight Saga" (only after I saw the 1st movie and a very good friend recommended I give them a try; ended up liking 'em). My only dislike from the series, sparkly vampires (don't fancy them much) and the lack of fangs (not my cup of tea). But truly just about any vampire or werewolf themed book will peek my interest. *"The Percy Jackson & The Olympians" series and other Rick Riordan writings, what can I say have to stay updated with what my students are reading. Have to say those were great and fun reads, highly recommend them. Have yet to read the infamous Harry Potter books, although did see and loved the movies (if that counts for anything). *"Infernal Devices" (TID) & "Mortal Instruments" (TMI), Cassandra Clare really knows how to write some action & mystery packed books. Liked them so much I re-read the entire TMI series twice, the 2nd time was for when the movie City Of Bones was coming out. Can't wait to for part six-City Of Heavenly Fire-from TMI to come out and for her next series "The Dark Artifices" (TDA), as well. *Will start reading the Divergent Trilogy (DT) as soon as they arrive later this week. Have seen recently trailers from the movie (coming out next year) and curiosity has been peeked. I hope that I won't be disheartened by the series or else it would've been a waste of $$, which with USA government furloughs, shutdowns and uncertainty could've been put to better use elsewhere.
