Edit 5/20/2015-Thought I should let it be known I'm up to writing challenges, I might not accept them but I'm up to being offered an interesting tale to weave, wow me.
My Code Geass Stories have a bit of a complex history,
'I Remembered Tomorrow Today' started out as a drunk attempt to learn to write again, not to dwell on specifics but this was the point where I was beginning to suspect my wife was cheating on me and I needed an outlet other than downing half a bottle of tequila and sleeping it off. It's more or less abandoned at this point but I have fondness for it mostly because it got me back into writing it, essentially Lelouch wakes up right after the Shinjuku massacre and decides to play the world like a fiddle for the laughs. His only goals are A.)Hook up with Kallen, B.) Fuck with everyone who betrayed him, and C.) Wing it, this should be fun.
'Let Me Share the Burden' was an idea born from watching too much science fiction and being introduced to the whole twin thing by another fanfic which by the way was so terrible I don't even remember what the bloody story was called. This was a lengthy story and a work of passion despite the low amount of follows and favorites despite having 150k views when done, I blame the fact that I didn't have nearly as many followers as I currently do and the stories been finished for almost a year. Long short, V.V. manipulated things so Marianne had twins for the sole purpose of making her self concious about her weight, I thought it was a perfectly acceptable premise since he is a petty little bastard. Net result though is you have a pair of Machiavellian genius's that are highly over protective of whats theirs, oh and their entire family suffers from PTSD and they all have substance abuse problems, good times.
'Ashes of Tomorrow' is the direct sequel to the above and unfortunately its birth coincided with the death of my marriage, while I really want to finish it I have a very hard time not associating it with my soon to be ex, that and I have like three or four people who heckle me after every chapter and considering I have many other stories were I don't have to deal with that shit...
'Never Alone' is my attempt at 'Lelouch of Britannia' and thus far has proven successful, while Nunnally is dead (meaning no sociopathic borderline insane killer version of her, drat) Lelouch and Euphemia are raised by Cornelia to be cunning warriors as the trio of siblings manipulate the courts to get their way. The end goal is either getting Cornelia to be Empress or Lelouch as Emperor to change the empire for the better, what none of them expected was for Charles to be very amused by this and play along and on the way they worm their way into his heart. Don't get me wrong, still a ruthless bastard, he just happens to like three of his kids quite a bit and gives them the space to prove themselves, while the eventual pairings have been set on this one the drama of teenage angst and having far too many choices will definitely be explored as Lelouch slowly bends the world to his will through conquest and guile.
'Nil Desperandum' was a late night one shot where I had Lelouch awake after the Zero Requiem during the invasion...in a ten year old Princess's body rather than his own, a stab at the gender bender trope where I tried to avoid cliches and just have fun. It's grown into a bigger story now as I've fleshed out Luluka's unstable personality and sociopathic tendencies as she plans world domination not to save anyone, rather just because she can. Its been fun so far so we'll see where it takes us.
On to my accidentally created and now most favorite character is currently Lillith, my go to Fem!Harry Potter, one of the things I love doing with her is to give her a different upbringing in each story and in turn a different personality;
'Another Day in the Life of' was created when my friend Jacob and I were hanging out and my friend Steph came over to cut my hair, she and Jake were both Harry Potter fans so we began ripping into things we hated about the series. Top of the list, the pairings, none of us could figure out why the fuck J.K.R put Hermione with a verbally abusive traitor and stuck Harry with a two dimensional fangirl, as things go with friends liquor happened and eventually they went home. I woke up in the morning and I had the first chapter of this written, I'm completely serious here I don't remember writing it in the slightest. Anyway the story has Harry's gender getting changed due to a potions accident and a rebounding blood seal, the fun I have with this particular (and first) iteration of Lillith is once its said and done she sighs and essentially says "Ok...well...what are we having for dinner?" Nothing phases her, so much shit hit Harry in his short life that nothing surprises him anymore, not even getting permanently turned into a girl. It's a bit of stress relief since I take that story significantly less seriously than say,
'The Lady of Slytherin-Dark Beginnings', is essentially my idea of what happens if something so horrifically violent and degrading happened to a young girl that the soul shard in her head ruptured and offered its help for her survival. This story is an amazing amount of fun to write since it's full of dark gallows humor along with exploring Lillith's slow descent from a morally gray but happy child to a ruthless and highly possessive Dark Lady. It's also the first story I began with absolutely no defined pairing, I'm letting the story write itself in that department and while frustrating for my readers it keeps it interesting for me. This is currently my personal favorite work and the one I put the most effort into, things start going off the rails second year and third I plan on basically skimming over since I'm really looking forward to fourth more than anything.
'A Black Halloween' was at its core my first attempt at a truly serious story with a bit of levity to it and also introduced my headcanon that Lily Potter nee Evans was a borderline insane mad genius whose blistering intellect and undying love for her child facilitated Voldemort's near defeat. Using a modified and irreversible Blood adoption into the Black family that also changed Harry's gender Lily essentially kills off her entire family line when Voldemort cuts them down leaving the newly renamed Lillith Jamie Black in the care of her now legal parents Sirius and Amelia. This also was the birthplace of my all time favorite character to write Bellatrix (or rather my interpretation of her), once you go crazy you never go back and while more stable than say her iteration in 'ADitLo' her playing twin sister to Lillith is adorable beside their step sister Susan. I've had their family compared to the Addams Family more than once, I couldn't be prouder of that.
'Two Witches, a Werewolf, and a Dog Walk into a Tournament' was my attempt at a TriWizard story, this Lillith actually got along rather well with her Aunt Petunia and cousin while Vernon was still a pig, sorry I despise the man. She's currently blood adopted to Sirius and living up life as a filthy rich heiress who heads the Nu Marauders while quietly nurturing her socipathic tendencies as she prepares to destroy the worlds economy with the philosophers stone for the laughs. I haven't updated this one in a while mostly due to not wanting to use up the tasks I came up with for 'LoS-DB', hopefully I'll come up with something soon since apparently my original idea of taking the dragon out with an RPG-7 was already done by another author and I hate using other peoples ideas unless I corroborated with them or was otherwise ignorant of their existence.
'A Twins Understanding' was actually a fluke of sorts, I was reading (and trying to enjoy while failing at it) another 'Wrong boy who lived' twin fic when I thought to myself, what would Harry's life be like if he had Lillith as a twin? I decided it would actually be fairly boring to write since one of them would be the child that lived and the other the spare, so I came up with the premise that the Lillith of Harry's life was a conceited self centered bitch who compensated for her lack of self esteem by being a bit...promiscuous. So while in this universe she drowned herself out of teenage angst in the next dimension over the Girl-Who-Lived Lillith Potter gets cornered in the Department of Mysteries and in the end jumps through the veil of death with her second in command and wakes up in the now dead twins body. This story is a LOT of fun to write since I get to explore Lilly coming to terms with the fact that she has a wonderful family and no expectations placed on her but has the added drama of being very attracted to her twin brother Harry since he's essentially her, narcissisticly delicious.
Circa 2002 Kept for Posterity: About Me:Lets see, I'm a 19 year old College student. I Started getting into anime in general in early 2000 after I saw an episode of Gundam Wing. I started to watch the UC Gundam shows and fell in love with the story line, the humanized themes of how the young always suffer the most in war, and of course giant robots beating the crap out of each other! My favorite Series Was 08th MS Team followed by the original 0079. My favorite American shows are Invader Zim, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and the Whole Star Wars Saga. I have a overwhelming obsession with the Gouf Custom and try to shove it in all my UC fics. Ok, I'm about done now, If anyone is interested in some kickass UC fics read His Divine Shadow's In Vain Doth Valour Bleed, Zingata's Forgotton fleet, Last Sons of Dalaz, and Warriors in the shadows over at www.newtype-asylum.com. Enjoy!
