Bad news about the Packgirls forum. The website hosting the forum dropped our forum and various others. It's too bad, because they never emailed me that it would happen, so I didn't have a chance to back anything up. I'm sorry for everyone who lost things they wanted to read...it sucks that they did that.
I'm still getting kind messages about my husband and it's been greatly appreciated. The illness that caused his stroke has been diagnosed, but it caused more damage before the diagnosis. In the last year and a half he's been hospitalized multiple times, and he's had three surgeries to save his kidneys from full renal failure. He's a brave man, and I'm so proud of him. He's still very sick, and any and all prayers are appreciated.
This week my husband suffered a massive stroke. It's a miracle that he didn't have more damage than he did, and I've never been more thankful for the grace of God as now. The doctors are amazed that he's doing as well as he is. That being said, the road to recovery is going to be long, and 100% of my attention is on caring for my family. As much as I have loved and still love writing, it is no longer a priority for me. Right now I don't know if or when any of my fics will be updated again. Honestly, I'd rather hold my husband's hand than write about others holding hands. I've become more aware than ever about how little time we really have, and the need to make it count.
Thanks to everyone who has read my work, and all the friendship and support the readers and writers of this site have given.
Hug the ones you love.
In January, I posted two things: a Leah one-shot and a series of extra scenes from TIC (some spoilers for future stories in that one). Most are from my old livejournal account, but some of the extras are new. In February, I went back and reworked Lost Chapters: Brady. I rewrote the prologue completely, and made some small changes to the first couple chapters. As of yesterday, a new chapter of LC:Brady was up, and the next chapters of B4 and LC:Brady are currently in progress. B4 has been a pain since I first sat down to write it, and I've considered pulling it and starting over. If it disappears one day, I probably gave up with the current writing style and changed back to the old "massive chapters, sequential, taking my sweet time getting to the plot" style. I wanted to try something new, but if it's not working, there's no point in trying to force it. We'll see.
