Author has written 30 stories for Hunger Games, Misc. Books, Leviathan series, and Faeries of Dreamdark.

If you're curious about the avatar, it is robots applauding something, and it is from the fantastic webcomic Gunnerkrigg Court. If you have never read any of it, I highly suggest you do.

Hello. I am Penelope Wendy Bing. But not really. Obviously that is not my real name, as I know no one with the last name Bing. I will not provide my real name, age, location, etc. I will, however, tell you a little about myself.

I'm ridiculously shy out in the real world. I stick with my group of friends and don't really start conversations. However, I'm really very friendly and talkative. So online, I'm very seldom known to shut up! I do well in school, and passably in sports. The only reason I look like I do okay at athletics is because none of the other girls in my class bother trying; it make me look better than I actually am. I love to write, read, sing, act, dance, play computer games, surf the net, and draw. Though I'm really no good at that last one. I am a devout Catholic, and am super proud of it. People who hate other people for their religious beliefs or lack of thereof really annoy me. So no matter what you are (Christian, atheist, Buddhist, whatever), no worries. You're fine by me.

Current Events (Updated 6/24/11):

Writing- Fanfiction, slowly. Internet is touch and go during the summer.
Hunger Games and Leviathan fanfiction. Also The Mortal Instruments, although they've left me thoroughly unimpressed.
Listening to-
My family watching Bones.
Air, I'm glad to say.
To do my summer homework, at some point.
Nothing interesting.
Fangirling over-
Gunnerkrigg Court by Tom Siddell.
- The trouble my own laziness is going to get me into, I'm sure.
Hoping- That I'll be able to update more frequently soon.

I received the Starvation Monthly Oneshot Challenge awards for

3rd Place (Sunset, Dawn. Prompt: Dawn.)

A reader also wrote this limerick about one of my stories, Funny Little Fruit.

The apple is a funny little fruit.

He and the cheese had a dispute.

The cheese got quite haughty,

Quite rude and quite snotty,

And, eaten by Apple, turned mute.

Movies: Ratatouille, Princess Bride, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, pretty much any Disney musical, Dead Poets Society, Monster House, Coraline, Nightmare Before Christmas (I'm going through a mild Tim Burton phase) the Muppets Christmas Carol, Flipped, The Crucible...the list goes on.

Books: I can't possibly list everything I read, so I'll give you a "short" list. Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Leviathan, The Pendragon Adventure, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Warriors, Faeries of Dreamdark, Maximum Ride, Artemis Fowl (all of these are a series) Un Lun Dun, Bad Kitty (a picture book, but so cute!) Skippyjon Jones (ditto the picture book thing), Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet. Expect this list to grow as I realize I've forgotten stuff.

I feel that one books series needs individual mention, because it's so under-supported. The Chanter of Tremaris trilogy by Cate Constable. Amazing, beautifully written books. If you haven't read it yet, do! If you have, then post a story about it. PM m to tell me you have and I promise I'll R&R.

Music: Evanescence, Kerli, the soundtracks of the musical Wicked and every Disney musical out there, Poker Face (I really don't listen to any other Lady Gaga music), Yuki Kajiura (a Japanese composer), A Fine Frenzy, and too much other stuff to list. Again, this list will probably grow.

Anime/Manga: Gentlemen's Alliance Cross, D.Gray Man, Tokyo Mew Mew (although I haven't read much of it at all. D: )

When life gives you lemons, make grape juice and let the world wonder how. -Girl in my English class

Ah, bitter Irony. Like goldy and bronzy, but made of iron. -Blackadder

(A conversation between me and my friend. She starts off, and we alternate lines.)

"I love how you all just assume I'm Liberal."- My friend Kelsey
"I though you said you were."- Me
"No. I don't identify with either side."
"So you're independent?"
"No. I told you, I don't identify with any political group."
"So...You're just Kelsey?"
"One day you'll run for president on the Kelsey Party platform. Of course. if anyone actually votes for you, you'll have to leave the party, because goodness knows you can't identify with those people."

I think being lazy and crazy makes you an author, not the other way around. -Mel (aka LoveTheBoyWithTheBread)

My favorite haiku, on the shirt of my cousin's friend:
Haiku can be weird,
It doesn't have to make sense,

Why put off till tomorrow what you can put off till the day after tomorrow? -Mark Twain

...if you dipped a Jacob's Ladder in a vat of sparkles, would it turn into a Edward's Ladder? -Vera Amber

There are two kinds of people in the world: those who know I'm bad at spelling, and those who haven't met me yet. -My friend Kelsey.

It's you and me against the world... We attack at dawn. -Unknown

Those who danced were thought to be rather insane by those who could not hear the music. -Angela Monet

Stress is when you wake up screaming and realize you haven't fallen asleep yet. -Unknown

As seen on a t-shirt: "If you make it idiot-proof, someone will build a better idiot."

Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing's going to get better, it's not. -The Onceler (The Lorax by Dr. Seuss)

Someday your prince will come. Mine took a wrong turn and is too stubborn to ask for directions. -Unknown

Insert pretty much every line from Firefly in here*

iShip: Peeta/Katniss, Alek/Deryn, Beetle/Jenna, Magpie/Talon, Andrew/Parley, Aja/Spader, B'Elanna/Tom, Seven/Harry, Deeba/Hemi, Chakotay/Janeway, Max/Fang, Percy/Annabeth, Allen/Road, Lenalee/Kanda or Lenalee/Lavi, Artemis/Holly, Finnick/Annie, Bella/Edward, Haine/Takanari, William/Janet, Jessica/Rex, Janet/Willian, Parley/Andrew, Booth/Bones, Angela/Hodgins, Jack/Kat, Simon/Maia, Kendra/Gavin (and yes, I'm in denial. You all should come join me; denial is lovely this time of year :D).

The Review Revolution...

Even if the fic has 10,002,464 reviews already...

Even if the fic is older than time itself...

Even if it was abandoned a loooooooooooooooooooooong time ago...

Even if the author turned out to be a total psychopath...

Even if the OC is a Sue and the spelling would make a dictionary cry...

I will review every fic I read. What goes around comes around, and more people will review my own fics. I have joined Review Revolution.

Now goodbye to you all! I think I'll close with a poem written for me by my good friend Mel. I think it'll provide a sense of clossure. If not you'll get to enjoy some fun poetry. Speaking of Mel's poetry, all you Hunger Games fans should go read her poem book 'Haunting the Loser'. Now without further adieu, the end of my profile.

Nighty night night.
Don't get tucked in too tight.
Your feet will go numb,
your mouth will go dumb,
you'll lose your sense of touch,
and that's just too much.
It's happened to me,
Try it; you'll see.
But I'd advise you not,
because it also makes you hot.
And with heat you can't deal,
when you simply can't feel.
