Hey all! Thanks for taking the time to wander over to my profile. It's not all that exciting, I know, but it's better than white space, right? Anyway, you've come all this way so I may as well introduce myself. I hail from the great Midwest, which for those of you who don't know is the part of the United States that eats a lot of hotdish, takes a minimum of three hours to say goodbye on the phone (eight if in person), and lives for at least six months proving the Albedo effect. Our four seasons include winter, mud season, construction season, and the awkward puberty phase between construction season and winter where mother nature has a lot of mood swings.

I have been writing fanfiction for The Darkest Powers trilogy since 2010 and reading them longer than that, though I don't read them much anymore. I have written three complete stories, as well as numerous one-shots. I'm currently working on Unexpected Odds exclusively, however I do have other stories stashed away on my Drive if I ever get the motivation to make them into real stories. I have seven folders for possible chapter stories, as well as two one-shots for Strange Requests that are in progress.

If you ever want to know how far I'm getting in a new chapter, I post updates on my Tumblr blog Rambling Minds under my username murrey2012. Every day that I write, I post an update with how many pages the newest chapter is when I'm done for the day. You can also message me if you want and ask how the story is going, though I prefer the instant messaging part instead of the little mail symbol because then I can see the previous messages.

If you ever have any questions about any of my stories and if you just want to know which season I'm currently in, feel free to message me on here or on Tumblr. I check my email religiously, so I usually answer quickly, unless you message during the seven hours I'm actually sleeping and the two hours I'm pretending I am so that I don't have to get up.

I have a new poll somewhere (it's been awhile) on how you guys would prefer I post updates on my writing. Tumblr is going through the same BS that this site did over inappropriate content, though if you're reading a story that is listed as Mature, you were already warned, and while I don't post anything raunchy on Tumblr, I know some people prefer other social media. The current options are Tumblr, Twitter, and something else I'm unaware of that you all are free to let me know exists. I currently don't even have a personal Twitter as I have deemed the need to constantly reveal every thought going through my head as ridiculous, but if that is something that would be easier for you guys to follow, just let me know in the poll and I'll bear through learning how to use it. Please feel free to message me with other options, too. I'm at that age where I'm aware of social media and use it constantly, but the sheer amount of options has increased exponentially since I graduated high school and I refuse to keep up or care.
