I love to read and write but I go through a lot of dry spells with brief interruptions of swarms of creativity. Therefore I update sporadically. Hope you like the stories I have written.

Honestly, it doesn't take much for me to favorite something- just to make to laugh, think of something differently, or is well written. But I do like all the ones I favorite. So, sorry in advance for the thousands under my favorites in case you try to go through it sometime. (I do that to other authors I like and know how annoying it can be.) But if I Favorited something of yours, please don't get offended either. I did like it.

I just checked the story stats and Freya has close to 100 favorites!!! That's AMAZING! Thank you all for your support. I means a lot, especially since I'm not the most frequent updater.

Hey everyone! I am currently trying to self publish a book on Amazon called The Last Summer. Here is a brief excerpt of it:

The willows had swept into great dances to the tune of the gentle breeze of Southern Louisiana- swinging and swaying and playing their fine accompanying rustle: like sad violins mixing with the familiar sound of breath leaving a woodwinds. This was the music of that summer long ago. Now, with so many years gone and wrinkles sunken into the face of time, this sweet song haunts me more than any other melody.

Maybe, if I had not been so young, if the world not so reminiscent of a dream far away, if God had been with us that hot, humid night between the flat open lands of the plantation and the cool subtle orchestra of the hanging moss in the swamplands- maybe such an important thing would not have been lost: an innocence now broken.

I will let you all know when it is up on the kindle. It would show a lot of support if you would pay the $0.99 it will be priced. All the royalties I receive will go to my college fund.

But more importantly, I hope you all enjoy it.
