I'm a dreamer living in the middle of nowhere in a small town in Wyoming. I have a two loving (and demanding) cats, eight chickens and seven rabbits. They keep me sane when they're not driving me crazy.

I haven't had TV for over ten years now, because I just couldn't deal with all the commercialism and gratuitous sex and meaningless unneccessary violence. I know it all exists, and needs to be dealt with, but the underlying messages I keep seeing are just plain frightening. And I decided to do something else with my time. What else can you do while watching TV?

Hoping for constructive criticism (please be kind) to further my dreams of independence. Working on an original fiction (aren't most of us?) and this forum is helping to build confidence and opening my mind to more ideas.

And thoroughly enjoying reading stories on several fanfiction sites!
