I suppose my user-name says it all. I LOVE Superman and Wonder Woman since I could reason 11=2. I started watching Super Friends as kid and even though it was Aquaman that always got the ride in the invisible plane I knew instinctively it was Wonder Woman and Superman for me. I'm pretty much a sideline comic fan in the way of not really reading comics but still loving the characters I grew up watching on television and occasionally getting to glean from my older brothers comics.

I was excited to learn about JLU I wanted to see if it would give me the same rush as Super Friends did as a child and it did in some ways. While I enjoyed the updated version, there were a few things I disliked immensely. Starting with Wonder Woman portrayal. I found the character as written was not the wonder woman I was familiar with AT ALL. Other then the costume I didn't know what to make of her. She was perpetually angry and when she wasn't busy being angry she was trying to 'lasso' the Batman. Color me disappointing! Kal was written as a big buffoon and that saddened me. And good old Bruce came out the shining star of that series. Shocking...only not really...

I am pretty much steadfast in my couple-ships..I don't foresee any of them changing. I'm stubborn that way.

Superman & Wonder Woman

Batman & Catwoman

Hawkman & Hawkwoman (another thing JLU gave me a conniption fit about)

Donna Troy & Kyle Raynor

Green Arrow & Black Canary

Superboy & Wonder Girl

Green Lantern John Stewart & Vixen (something I actually rooted for on JLU)

Tygra & Cheetara

Lady Jaye & Flynt

80's cartoons are my weakness I love them.

Thunder Cats, He-Man, She-Ra, G.I. Joe, Voltron, Transformers... You know the classics.

My main dislike these days is Hollywood ruining 90% of all comic characters or cartoons they get there grubby hands on. I mean for the love of all thing good..How hard is it to follow the story that is laid out in the comic or show? How hard is it to cast characters correctly? I walked out of X-men simply because I saw Ice-Man as a High School student in the first installation. I simply couldn't wrap my brain around it. And Superman returns was the most boring movie I have ever had the misfortune of paying for. I'll keep hoping for better.. it's all I can do.

Assassins of Noor by MilkSapphire reviews
Diana's sister is dead and she goes to Algeria to seek peace with her inner self. While she is there she runs into a certain Clark Kent. She has dismissed her WW title, but steps into another title. Some Arabic, but will translate. Takes place during/after Infinite Crisis. No "One year Later". Clark is not Superman in this story.

A relative re-working of the entire DC Universe with some aspects, such as how people with superpowers are created aka meteor freaks, from the TV show, Smallville. The focus is on Kal-El and Diana.
