Hello!

Writing, for me, is a form of self therapy. My stories tend to be focused on a depth of emotion that I have difficulty presenting verbally, and so I turn to the written word in an attempt to process the world as I know it. I write because I must; because if I don't then the things I feel will just boil inside my heart and soul until I explode. You'll notice that the bulk of my fics deal with an romantic situation between two people with an age gap, or between two people who seem to be an unlikely pair - something that as a very real part of my life. I write from my soul, known in my community as "the Queen of Angst" with good reason, as I've gotten quite good at being that writer who can make you feel the hurts the characters are feeling, letting your heart break right along with theirs. People say that one should "write what you know", and I do.

A bit about me - I'm a mother of two, in a long term relationship with a partner that I met through fanfiction. She actually started out as my Beta. When I'm not writing, I'm reading, watching a favorite show, spending time with my large family (I'm one of ten kids and my Mom makes Molly Weasley look tame when it comes to her desire to feed the masses and make children of all the lost lambs of the world), or working my day job as a dealer and appraiser of antique and vintage stoneware. My Mom supports my work as she's a McCoy collector, however I think my poor Dad is running out of places to add shelves for her growing collection. Upside, he's British and stereotypically so, and pacifying him is typically as simple as giving him a cup of tea. Admittedly, I'm much the same.

I'd probably revolt if not for the internet, however. I grew up in Amishville, and I'm more than used to, and even appreciate, more basic living in many ways, but the internet is a requirement for sanity in my household. Regarding fanfiction, I continue to write when I can, at present my focus being on my Everyone Lies series. I'm a homeschooling parent though, so time can be limited. That said, I've been part of the fanfiction community for over a decade years now, and Admin a Facebook community for HGMM, so I'm hardly likely to up and vanish now.
