Author has written 93 stories for Harry Potter.
Writing, for me, is a form of self therapy. My stories tend to be focused on a depth of emotion that I have difficulty presenting verbally, and so I turn to the written word in an attempt to process the world as I know it. I write because I must; because if I don't then the things I feel will just boil inside my heart and soul until I explode. You'll notice that the bulk of my fics deal with an romantic situation between two people with an age gap - something that as a very real part of my life. People say that one should "write what you know", and I do.
A bit about me - I'm a mother of two, living with both the father of my children, as well as with my current partner. Not polygamy, just a rational agreement between adults in the best interest of the kids. We are in the process of buying land and a home, or at least land on which to build a home, with the intention of stepping into the Homesteading lifestyle. Self sufficiency is an idea that all three of us find important, and want to work toward. As far as my daughter is considered, as long as we can have pigs so she can still have bacon, she's fine with the idea, and my son was sold on the notion just on the basis of all the cute animals it will mean we can have. He may revolt if there's crappy wifi, however.
For that matter, I'd probably revolt if there's crappy wifi. I grew up in Amishville, and I'm more than used to, and even appreciate, more basic living in many ways, but the internet is a requirement for sanity in my household. Regarding fanfiction, I continue to write when I can, although I've begun writing original fiction as well (you can find me on Amazon under Sela Quinn, if you're interested) and I'm a homeschooling parent, so time can be limited. That said, I've been part of the fanfiction community for over ten years now. I'm hardly likely to up and vanish now.
Warmest regards, and thank you so much for your continued support!
