Author has written 7 stories for Baldur's Gate, X-Men, X-Men: Evolution, Dungeon Siege, Discworld, and Neverwinter Nights.
I'm a professional translator, which in theory should mean I can write. I put the stories here to give them some airing, because they were stuck for too long with a narrow circle of readers. They were mostly written for fun, in a time when we would set up a writing challenge among friends and exchange resulting stories. That was back at the university when we still had time to do such things... English is not my native language, so if you spot any errors, please let me know. I check everything carefully, but still.
The stories are mostly romance-ish, with heavy emphasis on adult situations, I have no idea why. It just comes out that way. If anyone reads them an likes them, I'll be more than happy. If you're interested in author's notes, they're posted below. I think putting them before the stories themselves breaks the immersion and puts too much pressure on the reader.
Author's notes :
The pleasure of piracy. This story is a result of a discussion we had after playing the "Romantic Encouters" mod for Baldur's Gate 2. We each had our favourite component of the mod, but felt those favourites could still be improved. Thus several smutty stories were born :)
Hate and Loathing in Aman'lu. This is a small, a little silly, post-breakup story. I needed to go on a killing spree, so I installed Dungeon Siege II, and was amazed at the story potential this game has. I also wanted to explore some aspects and consequences of unrequited love, its impact on an individual. Yes, sounds stuck-up, doesn't it?
A Valuable Employee. Honestly, I have no idea where this came from, other than an attempt at writing Havelock Vetinari and staying in character. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Power outage. "X-men evolution" was a really nice cartoon, especially on the visual side. Being aimed at younger audience, some of its content had to be toned down, but setting Storm and Wolverine as adults while most others as teenagers was, in my opinion, a very good idea. It opened new possibilities for the characters, some of which I tried to address in this story.
Relieving the tension. The main concept is somewhat similar to Power outage, but set in a more traditional X-men line, although matching Logan with Ororo is already taking much liberty with the canon. But I always found his attraction for Jean highly improbable, and we all know Storm's marriage to T'Challa was just politics :)
Touch of a Demon : Valen. Valen Shadowbreath. I have nothing more to say.
Oh, and if anyone's interested, I keep a blog, mostly about cooking (there's recipes!) and spells. Kitchen Witchcraft: Of Magic and Macaroni.
