About me? Well, I can only really appreciate cookies if they're dunked in milk. Quite honestly, they lose their special something if they aren't all milk washed. My favorite color is green, I like taking walks, writing (You're all quite shocked, I know), Reading and the like. I love antique stores and I'll spend a good amount of time there.
I've often pondered why nutcrackers have black mustaches and white beards.
I'm particularly fond of Disney movies (the old ones) and I think everyone should read Agatha Christie's Tuppence and Tommy books. Yes, they're old, but I've noted that old books are typically better than newer ones. The Young Adult world is filled to the brim with awful fiction.
I love weeping willow trees.
Some Favorite Quotes:
"The tools of conquest do not necessarily come with bombs and explosions and fallout. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices, to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and, and suspicion can destroy, and thoughtless, frightened searches for a scapegoat has a fallout of its own; for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things can not be confined to the Twilight Zone." --Rod Sterling
In the preface of Nicholas Nickleby "If Nicholas be not always found blameless or agreeable, he is not always intended to appear so. He is a young man full of impetuous temper and little or no experience; and I saw no reason why such a hero should be lifted out of nature." --Charles Dickens

"When I speak of home, I speak of a place where, in default of a better, those I love are gathered together; and if that place were a gypsy's tent, or a barn, I should call it by the same good name notwithstanding."--Nicholas Nickleby

"It is a curious thought, but it is only when you see people looking ridiculous that you realize just how much you love them."--Agatha Christie
"Oh, you mean my pilot's license? That's out back in the Cessna. Or perhaps you're referring to my license to kill. Revoked. Trouble at the Kazakhstan border. I could give you the details but then I'd have to kill you, which I can't do because my license to kill has been revoked."--Shawn, Psych
"For your information, I can do anything in a dress that I can do in trousers, and I'll be more comfortable."--Anathriel, Awakenings.

"I said 'I have shut my heart
As one shuts an open door
That love may starve therein
And trouble me no more'
My room was white with the sun
And love cried out in me
'I am strong, I will break your heart
Unless you set me free.'"
