Hey y'all :)
I don't think anyone visits this page any more, but if you do, just going to say that I'm not going to continue any of my previous stories (I've deleted them from my computer anyway, so...). Instead, I'm working on a new project, quite different from what I've done before, I suppose mostly because I'm a different person now and my tastes have changed and partly because my old writing style sucked? Well, don't think you guys (my non-existent audience) care so much, so...here's a bit about me! ;)
My UN is Haloween, and funny story there behind the spelling...I GENUINELY thought it was spelt like that because the spell-checker didn't correct me, but about a week later I realised that I had spelt it wrong, so I kind of purposefully misled people to think I meant to spell it this way...NOW YOU KNOW THAT DEEP DARK TRUTH!!! So yeah, feel free to call me stupid, Halo-chan (a nickname from the beautiful Loraliell, cuz you know, I'm an angel ;p haha jk!), or
As you can see, I ramble. A lot. It's something that defines me. If you ever have the misfortune to meet me in rl, then I'll be one of those nervous people who talks super fast and about anything and everything, lol. So there's your warning...! (No offence to those who do the same; on the contrary, we are a UNITED group! 8D)
A bit about me: I was born and raised in England, so I'm British, and super proud of that fact! I'm an ancient history nut - love all things related to how people lived in the past, particularly in Europe. I like to eat - A LOT. My favourite food is definitely a tie between pizza and pasta. I would like to travel the world one day - from the Americas to Australia to Asia to Africa, and of course, Europe! You could say, I love learning and absorbing myself in other cultures and I love learning languages. Don't know what else to say, so I'll leave it at that for now. :D
How I use(d) this site: At first, at the tender age of 13, I used this site to read and expand my horizons. I was an innocent kid then, and mostly read comedy ('A Black Comedy' by nonjon was my absolute favourite then and still is today) and time travel stories, genres which I still am fascinated with and love today. After, around the age of 15-16, I was introduced to some of the less innocent aspects, and my reading repertoire expanded into what you see below, under my favourites tab. Around the same time, I decided to start writing something ('Breaking Free' was the main one, and 'It's no fairytale', the later addition). To be quite honest, I think I jumped into it and was spurned on by all the kind reviews I got, but eventually it got to a point where I just couldn't write any more, no matter what I did. I had other duties, in the real world (GCSEs and A-levels) to do, in order to secure my future, and so I kind of abandoned writing, both fanfiction, and in the real world to focus on what I had to do. I don't think I made the wrong choice, but I do feel like I missed out on my chance to expand one of my interests. But anyhow, it's been about a year and a half since then, I think? Yep, and I decided this summer I'm going to write something, and I'm going to commit to it - set aside a couple of hours a week for it. Of course, I'm still going to read and review other stories, like I have been doing, but I'd like another chance at writing, and this time I'm making sure I won't make myself feel pressured to write more than I can take and thus ruin everything. I'm really going to treasure this chance, so yeah! If you just dropped by on whim and read my life story, or if you were an old reader alerted that I'd put another story up, please enjoy! That's literally all I ask.
Thank you, and have a nice day! ;3
