Author has written 5 stories for Pokémon, and Legend of Zelda.
In real life, I’m predominantly an aspiring fantasy author. Online, though, I tend to put most of my energy into fanfiction and fanart for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon, as the fandom was what inspired me to join. As a writer, I am backed by twelve years of freewriting experience, several college writing courses, and a strong understanding of grammar. But in spite of my experience, I'm aware that there is always room to grow.
I’m currently unemployed and on break from college, but hopefully by this fall both of these will change. I’m a senior nearing the end of my degree, so once I do go back to college, my updates will slow significantly. I will keep you updated on my progress and how it will affect my work.
I tend to be somewhat of a slow updater when it comes to my writing. I’m a perfectionist by nature, so I’m very methodical with my work and will sometimes frustrate myself into a writer’s block because I can’t get a story to turn out the way I want. However, I will try to set a minimum goal of turning out one chapter per month to keep myself on track.
Updates (only the most recent five will be kept):
11/9/12 - Well, the rough times haven't really gotten any better, but I'm hoping that this month will at least offer me something to eliminate these writer's slumps I keep finding myself in. I'm participating in NaNoWriMo this year for the first time, and if I can win, it might just provide me the boost in self-confidence I need to continue writing full-time again. In the meantime, I am on temporary hiatus from ff.net until December at the earliest to compensate for NaNo.
7/12/12 - Five months exactly, huh? Unfortunately, I've been going through some rough times again. Last month in particular was a really bad month for me. So I haven't written anything since I last updated TMRC. Maybe once things turn around for me I can start writing again. We'll see.
2/12/12 - I'm sorry for the long hiatus. I've been dealing with a lot of real life stress on top of a massive writer's slump, so I haven't logged on here for months. I have quite a few messages I need to answer. But there is good news for my TMRC readers at last - I finally finished and uploaded Chapter 3!

Rhaeda's Other Bases:
I have a deviantART account under the same username, which you may find by clicking my homepage link. Along with my fanfiction, I post artwork for TMRC and some of my original writing (both prose and poetry) there. I frequently update my journals there in much greater length than I do in my updates column here. Feel free to check out my page, and if you're a fellow member, drop by and send me a message.
The MorningRay Chronicles (TMRC):
In Part 1, she begins a life-changing mission after tragedy tears apart everything she knows. Learn how she meets Grovyle, watch as they discover the mysteries behind the planet's paralysis, and witness the birth of their enmity of Dusknoir and his army of Sableye.
On Hiatus Until Further Notice:
The Legend of Zelda: Dawn of the Heroine (New title pending)
The Kokiri way of life is in flux with the recent infestation of monsters and illness of the Great Deku Tree. Zelda does what she can to protect her village, but when a fairy named Navi comes to the forest bearing news that other fairies are being kidnapped and Prince Link has been missing for days, the Deku Tree sends Zelda on a secret mission outside of the forest to find him and offer him her protection. Now, she must quickly adapt to the world outside of the forest she thought she'd never leave and find the prince before it's too late, but little does she realize that she will have a larger role to play in the war that is to come.
This fic is loosely based on a incomplete novel I've written that at this point in time has too many elements that tie in with the LoZ fandom to stand on its own (admittedly, OoT is where the idea and inspiration came from in the first place.) My hope is that by separating these elements and putting them in their own story, I can take my novel in a new, more original direction without having to abandon ideas I've held for years.
All forms of feedback and constructive criticism are highly welcomed and appreciated, as they will help me to grow as a writer. That is my ultimate mission here on FanFiction.Net - to use my love for fandoms and fanfiction to develop my writing skills so I can carry them over to my original fiction and work toward becoming a published author in the future.
Thanks for reading!
