Playing With Puppets

See, at first I really wanted to make this a Kankuro/OC fic, and the thought of Shikamaru having an older sister seemed plausible. (Seeing as she's not his twin) But, when I did invent Chika, and I put her in the story, she seemed to make all of the friends herself. I mean, I couldn't force her to be friends with Naruto, when she clearly doesn't like loud people, and I couldn't make her fall in love straight away with anyone, because she wasn't that kind of person.

So then, she wounded up on Team Eight, and she took a liking to Shino. So, whether I like it or not, this is how the story is going to roll out, because of Chika's personality, and Character, so please don't blame me if she does anything stupid!!!

Playing with Puppet Update

Already, ten chapters up and running, phew! I didn't want Chika to instantly fall for Kankuro, so I spent the first chapters getting to know Chika, then let the excitement happen. I'm still quite undecided, on whether it should be a Shino or Kankuro fic, but, who knows who Chika will fall for? Anyway, I'm planning on writing a couple of chapters on the preliminary battles before the thirty day period of where they get time to prepare for battle. Through that thirty day period, I want Chika to become closer to Kankuro, and of course Shino will play a big part in the arc too.
