![]() Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter, and Teen Titans. I'm a chick, 23 years old, a geek, a music lover, and a sporadic writer. But, of course, that's not why you're here, is it? Considering my irregular updating schedule, this page is going to be used mainly as a way of communicating to you (my lovely readers) what's actually going on with the few fics I have here. I'm not going to lie and tell you that the next chapter of such-and-such a story is going to be posted today or tomorrow or next week or whenever! I don't know when I'm going to have it out. Yes, my life has been really hectic over the last several months, but the truth of the matter is I write when I have the bug to write. I can't really make any promises as far as a schedule goes. July 10, 2017 Heads up, I don't mind talking about nitty-gritty personal life stuff and I am going to do that here. So be warned. So, honestly, a lot has happened since I last updated here. It's honestly kind of crazy to think it's been so long since all of this started happening. I guess, about five years ago now, I started having some pretty bad health issues: migraines and seizures. I'd never had any sort of history with anything like it before and it just hit me and my family really hard. It's interfered in so many aspects of my life. On top of this (and, in large part, because of it), I've been dealing with chronic depression and anxiety as well. In and out of hospitals (both mental and the regular kind), struggling through school and work, I just haven't had the energy to devote to writing. At all. I've still been reading a lot (just look at my favorites list) and that's helped a ton -- serving as a really entertaining distraction at times and necessary catharsis at others -- but I can't say for sure when I'll get back to writing. I've made a few starts here and there, small beginnings of ideas, but nothing worth posting as of yet. I'm sorry to anyone I've left hanging for so long. I hope I can find the motivation to come back to this someday soon. June 9, 2012 I suppose I should've declared a temporary hiatus - oh, about 6 months ago? The reason: school, which has been much more time consuming and difficult than expected. I've been slowly adding to the chapters I'm working on, both GtM and ATL, whenever I get the chance - but, let's face it, my school work comes first over everything else. Demanding little sonofabitch -_-. Taking 12 credit hours this summer too, so there goes that. Life sucks sometimes. May 11th, 2011 Gone to Madness: (Updated February 11th, 2011) The first story I started on this site and, although it has more reviews than any of my other stories so far, not my best work. As soon as I started the thing, I was already planning on doing a revamp later on once my skills had improved somewhat. I'm glad that my readers and reviewers are enjoying this so far, and I'm going to finish before starting a rewrite, but it's not my favorite and has become difficult to write. The next chapter is sketched out in my head, ready to be put to paper, but I just can't get it together properly. I've started up a few times, but the words just sort of fizzle out before I can get going. All That's Left: (Updated March 27th, 2011) Chapter 6 is, for the most part, planned out. However, I just can't bring myself to start on this one until I've finished the latest Chapter in GtM. So far, I've been alternating between updates but I think I may have to change that, simply because it's too difficult to switch gears like this (probably another reason why updates are going so slow). Snapped: (Published June 11th, 2010) A 1500ish word drabble. I've decided that it's going to stay as is unless any particularly brilliant ideas hit me. Sorry to any of you who were hoping for a continuation. In conclusion: I read waaaay more than I write, I'm lazy, and a chronic procrastinator *wince*. I do know what it's like to wait on an author that's been out of the picture for months/years and I apologize for putting my readers through the same thing. Over time, I hope to get better about my scheduling issues. Now go: read, review, enjoy! |
