Author has written 5 stories for Batman Begins/Dark Knight, Harry Potter, and Vampire Diaries.
NOTE: I recently created an account on another fanfiction site (GASP). It's mostly for reading purposes. I don't think I'll be posting any of my stories there, at least for a while. If you want to know the name of the site, message me and I'll give you the details. I don't want to advertise or brag it up, but I will say this: it's a cool site with less restrictions. That being said, I'm a fanfiction.net girl through and through.
About Me: I am a writer, but in the last few years fanfiction has become my forte, my sanctuary, and my liberation. I'm working (struggling desperately) on a novel while working on fanfiction for fun. That's what it is for me: fun. But fun doesn't mean not important. It can be surprisingly hard and astonishingly exhausting, but so exciting and nerve-wracking and exhilarating. And my stories mean the world to me. They are as important to me as any original story I've every written. This site has thrown open a window in my head I was always ashamed to admit existed. Before I learned that there were "fanfiction" websites, I thought I was the only one who wrote stories about stories that have already been told. Okay, not the only one, but one of very few. I thought I was really weird until I discovered this whole other world. My writing has flourished and I've become more certain that I was born to be a writer.
Thank God for the internet. Without it, I'd still be scribbling my little stories about Harry Potter in my many notebooks and hiding them under my bed, locked away from the world. Strangest of all, I never used to show my writing to anyone until I found fanfiction.net. I was always too frightened. I'm not anymore. Sure, I get nervous every time I hit the Post New Chapter button, but I have this confidence that I never had before.
Personal Info: The most person bit of information about me is this: I'm a writer.
I'm 22 years old.
I love being in love, whether it be with a person, place, book, movie, or work of art. I love in all directions.
I'm a bit of a romantic, which is a total understatement. I love a good adventure. I sometimes (another understatement) skim through books to get to the good parts.
Confession: I've read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban approximately 17 times.
Music consumes my life. Truly. I need to be listening to music all the time--when I'm writing, reading, bathing, jogging, painting, sketching, driving. If I don't have music, I'm not happy. I need it.
Most of the time, I read fanfiction on my iPod. The mobile site is very convenient and easy to use, especially when I'm turning in for the night.
Top 'Fandoms': (Note: I recently joined tumblr, so I've gotten used to using the word 'fandom'.)
Harry Potter -- Harry Potter is the series that started it all for me. Before Harry Potter, I hated reading. HATED it!
Batman -- The new movie series is what I base my stories off of, but I have quite a few of the old movies. Huge, huge fan.
The Vampire Diaries -- Love the show, haven't really had a chance to read the books. Okay, that's a lie. I tried reading the books. I honestly didn't care for them. But I made this attempt before the show started, so it might be different now. Maybe. Probably not.
Star Trek -- I'm going to be honest here, my love for Star Trek bloomed when I saw Chris Pine dominate my television screen. The first Star Trek trailer I saw caught my attention, I watched the movie, loved it with all of my heart, then forgot about it. I started watching the old episodes, which are hard to come by when you have no job, no money, and no friends to borrow money from so you can buy the episodes on Amazon. I just recently purchased the movie and am waited very impatiently for the new movie to come out on DVD. I haven't posted either of the two stories I'm working on because I'm still getting comfortable with them, but perhaps soon.
