I joined FanFiction because my stepsister said it was really cool and that you could both read AND stories online. So, here I am now. I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself or something like that? Not that you probably care, anyway... ;)

I really don't have a whole lot of hobbies besides playing music (the drums and a little guitar, to be exact), listening to music, going online to do whatever, playing video games, watching TV and movies, reading books AND fics online, hanging out with my friends, and, of course, writing stories (who would have guessed?).

I have a lot of genres of music I listen to, like rock (pretty much all kinds), some metal, hip-hop and rap, classical, and a little pop. Some of my favorite artists are: Green Day, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Disturbed, Beastie Boys, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, Sublime, Michael Jackson (R.I.P., MJ), Bush, Lady GaGa (yes, I'm not afraid to admit that), Eminem, Alice in Chains, Blink-182, Foo Fighters, and a LOT more.

I love video games, and my favorite console is Xbox 360. Some of my favorite games are the Saints Row series, the Call of Duty series, the Left 4 Dead series, Red Dead Redemption, the Fallout series, the Battlefield series, and others.

I could go on and on about TV shows, but my all-time favorite anime is Yu Yu Hakusho. As for TV channels, I'll watch most things on Nickelodeon, USA, Encore, HBO, Comedy Central, FX, AMC, Cartoon Network, Spike, The History Channel and History International, G4, and National Geographic.

Everyone loves movies, and I'm definitely no exception! My absolute favorite is Avatar, but I also adore the Die Hard series, the Terminator series, the Bourne series, Office Space, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Fair Game (1995), Sin City, the Alien series, the Predator series, Speed, the Rambo series, The Matrix series, Shooter, RED, the Indiana Jones series, the Batman series, and still more.

My favorite reading genres are mystery, adventure, and comedy. I'll read most books by Anthony Horowitz, Eoin Colfer, J.K. Rowling, and Lemony Snicket.

Now for fics. If it's a fic about something I like, I'll look at it and see if I like it. If it's okay, I'll read it once or twice, but if I love it, I'll save it to my favorites for later. I personally prefer M-rated stories over T-rated ones because for me, M-rated ones have more action, blood and gore, bad language, and more descriptions in what's going on. But just because I prefer them over T-rated fics DOESN'T mean that I won't read any T's, and I'm NOT saying T-rated stories are bad at all. Hell, there are some good ones out there! I generally like anything about Avatar, especially if it's with Jake and Tom going to Pandora or events with the Omaticaya after the movie. Also, I like fics on Yu Yu Hakusho dealing with Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, Keiko, or any other major characters. Recently, I've also acquired a taste for dramas dealing with events after the show ended.
