Author has written 10 stories for Alvin and the chipmunks.
Hello all :D
First, let me explain my PenName: When I signed up for FanFiction.net, I was a major Harry Potter fan, and my favorite character from the series was Ginny (still is, actually). Hence the PenName. Now, I'm a major Alvin and the Chipmunks fan, but the PenName isn't changing because I think it would be confusing for my readers :P
No, my name is not Ginny. It's Emily.
By the way, my very best friend posts a couple of AatC stories, and they deal with OC's that I sometimes have in mine (Susan, Charlene...), so I really recommend reading the two that she's got, 'cause they're really good :D. Especially if you want to find out more about an OC in my story.
Her PenName: FiyeraAlexander - look her up :)
FOR SPRING 3 (need to explain):
My family is in the process of moving house, and at said house, I have no internet so don't have time to upload. This is a previously written message I've been trying to get to you for a while now
- I have finished the next chapter of Spring 3, but am unable to post it due to the reasoning above: it would have taken too long. I'm so sorry to keep you waiting >.
On a positive note, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Spring 3: Undisclosed is on its way!
Being Heard: After Alvin loses his voice, things start to shake up the natural order of the family, and it's not just Alvin who has to deal with it...
Alvon story, my little light-hearted comic relief from Spring for the mo. It'll get more dramatic as I go, however :D
- will definitely be continuing this :) It's priority just after Spring 3.
Spring: So, this story is COMPLETE, now, but a sequel (below...) is out now XD
Spring 2: Said and Done - Last spring something happened between Alvin and Simon that they could never live down, and now Simon is stuck with a crush that won't go anywhere, and spring is coming up again. Meanwhile, Alvin has felt almost hollow for the past months and can't figure out why.
This story is all about a fight for love, while the last was getting warmed up to the idea. And if last spring was only a warm-up, what are we in for here..?
COMPLETE :D next book below:
Spring 3: Undisclosed - most obviously the next "book" in the series. In Spring 2: Said and Done, Jeanette had concocted a plan, and as a result, Alvin wasn't himself for three days. This story has a look at what he did, and how he's trying to solve it without knowing exactly what happened.
One more OC is introduced. Or none. (does Charlene count as an OC?) anyway, she may or may not be important ;)
Without a Trace will be updated very soon, because I just figured out an awesome end to it and I can not wait!
The One That Got Away: Will also be updated soon, but not as fast.
Recurring Problems: Is having problems, but I will get to it.
Should Have Guessed # 2: Is COMING SOON, but will be here in a while.
Just For Laughs: Gee, I dunno about this one. I'm a little iffy with using other peop's quotes. But, um, still, if you like it, tell me. So far so good, though, so thanks to those who reviewed, 'cause it's gonna continue now!!! :D
STORIES I HOPE TO WRITE EVENTUALLY:
More Than This: I'm hoping to start this one after the Spring series ends, but anyway, it's basically an Alvin/Simon love story gone wrong. It's in Alvin's P.O.V and he's telling us how he's attracted to his brother, and how all the cliche's he knows, just aren't coming together. No, this one is true when it says "he doesn't like me like that"
It's going to be dramatic and sad, but I'm hoping to end on a happier note, but I'm still figuring out how to do that. Description:
So it all started a month ago. I think. We were alone, and fighting again - a habit. And suddenly, he gave me a flood of emotions that I'd never felt before, and now I just can't shake the feeling. He's not in the same position, though. Keeps asking me how he should ask Jeanette out.
It's been a year, now. I've decided to see a psychiatrist, because I really just need to tell someone at least a few of the secrets I'm hiding now. I don't think anyone can ever know that I've fallen for Simon.
Two years now: still seeing Laura (the psychiatrist) I think she's really helped me through some important stuff, and now she's got the fact that I'm gay out of me. She wants me to tell Dave, but I'm nervous. She wants me to tell the guy I like, at least that I'm gay, but I refuse to.
Three years now. Final year at school, and Dave knows I'm gay. He's promised not to tell Theo or Simon. I can't express anymore how much I am actually in love with Simon. It's killing me that it can't happen, that he doesn't know, that he and Jeanette are a serious couple. I've decided to stop going to Laura. She knows, now, that it's my brother. She's promised never to tell, and I believe her.
Four years. I think I could just give up, except for the fact that I'm madly in love with Simon still. We're in University, now, and Simon has told me he's thinking of proposing to Jeanette. I want him to be happy, but I don't know if I could handle it if they married.
Almost five years, now. Simon's marrying Jeanette in four weeks. I don't think I'll go to the wedding. I just can't stand the thought of it - to see it might just kill me. I regret not telling him now more than ever. Now I have no chance; it's hopeless. He's getting married and that's that. There's no way I'm telling him now, it could make him miserable.
Five year anniversary. Something's come up in my favour...
I'm going to tell him.
Risky Little Game: A fun story idea I thought of after watching a particular 'Friends' episode. The story is cartoon version, and pans out during Christmas.
The Chipmunks and Chipettes are performing a small, week-long tour before Christmas hits. Everything is going smoothly, until Alvin begins to act strange around Simon. Simon assumes that his brother has a crush on him. He relays his theory to Jeanette, but she doesn't see why Alvin can't simply be nice to his brother. Simon is determined to prove her wrong, and convinces himself of Alvin's feelings. But, now that he's so obsessed with proving it true, what happens if he's wrong?
For a Miracle: A sad story. I don't want to give much away, but there's kind of mixed feelings in it. A little bit of supernatural, and a character death at the start. Based on a news report I saw - but not a true story.
When someone closer than anyone else in the world to Alvin dies, he's left feeling guilt, sadness and every other emotion that goes with the death of a loved one. A young woman claiming she can do magic takes pity on Alvin and offers him the chance to revive who has died, and give him a second chance to prove that he can look out for him. Alvin is informed that there may be a side-effect to the revived, but it will dissipate after a month. If Alvin can keep the person close and safe, everything will be back to normal.
Pictures of Us: Trying my hand at a second-generation story :) Chipmunks are supposed to have big families, right?
Alvin promised himself when he was young that he'd never have a family "marriage is a waste of my time". We see that this statement is just words. Now a father of five young kids with Brittany (Breanne, Ace, Annelise, Jason and Alvin Jr.), Alvin has forgotten his statement.
However, now there are problems arising between his son Ace and Simon's son Michael, Jason feels outcasted due to his different appearance, but Alvin has to remind his kids and himself what family is all about.
The Only One: Another AlvinXSimon story. The two Seville's have been in a relationship, in secret, for a year and a half. But when a mysterious new chipette arrives at the school, they soon find out their secrecy is in danger. And it’s going to be tough, because no one has suspected them before; she’s the only one.
On the Way Up: A story with no pairing (so far) all about Alvin, if he never got famous so easily, and never knew that he and his brothers could sing together so beautifully. It starts with Alvin at school, trying to perform a song by Britney Spears, but two boys in the year keep teasing him throughout the performance. Then, Simon realises Alvin just needs a little help on the way up.
Stats About My Stories: My word limit for a chapter in a series is 4,000. Anything over and it's just too long. For a one-shot, its more a 10,000 limit, but I'd never get to writing that much in a chapter anyway.
I've written 2 stories for Alvin/Brittany and 4 for Alvin/Simon, then 1 with no pairing and no real plot (Just For Laughs).
I have a bad habit of writing all the time, and so I usually update a story in well under a week. But, I can be detained, whether unintentionally (homework, camp, holidays and angry parents), or because I'm working on a different story that's just going much better.
My O.C's: From oldest to newest
Susan Haey: An annoying chipette with brown hair and blonde streaks, icy brown eyes and is quite pretty. She's obsessed with destiny and other supernatural things, and isn't capable of calling Alvin anything other than "Alvie". She kind of stalks Alvin, and Simon a bit. She's insane.
Natasha Hill: A shy chipette who has blonde hair, green eyes and wears pink and green as her signature colours. She goes to the boys' school after she needs to move from her home in England. She has a slight crush on Alvin.
Ana Hill: She is Natasha's little sister (two years younger) and competes with Susan for how annoying she is. She has red wavy hair, green eyes and wears red and white or green and purple. She flirts with any boy she can, and especially Natasha's friends. She's known for her flattering descriptions of all the boys.
Sadie May Heart:The most modern character I've created: her personality is collected and hip, she's one of the most popular girls in school, but she prefers to hang out with people she knows she can be friends with for a long time, and is certainly not ashamed to say she's friends with Simon and Jeanette. She's another chipmunk girl, with straight blonde hair, green eyes, and wears white, pink and blue. Her love interest (in some stories) is Cruise Williams, but in other stories, she crushes on Simon.
Cruise Williams: Quite the character; Cruise demonstrates very similar looks and personality to Alvin, and they get along great. He was formed to be Sadie's interest, but in other stories he's interested in Brittany. He is an only child who's parents died when he was young and was taken in by the Williams' family, and developed two half-siblings; Chris and Thalia, and his mother-figure: Hailey. His real name is Terrance, but he refuses to be called that.
Rosaline Havanna Alicia Kate Brianna Louisa Ella Flora Starr:The newest character. Rosaline prefers to be called "Ros" because her full name is already way too long, so she wants to shorten it even more. Her mother couldn't decide what her middle name should be, so gave her all the names of her aunts and her two grandmothers, in fear that Rosaline would be her only child. She's a chipette who lives with her birth mother and her younger siblings, the twins, Chloe and Carter who are both blonde and have brown eyes. Rosaline has crimson-ish hair, aquamarine eyes and freckles spilling over her nose and cheeks.
She's introduced in an AlvinXSimon story where the two boys have successfully hid their relationship for a year and a half, and she comes to the school and is determined to figure out their secret, and she does. "The Only Person", is what the story's gonna be called.
Ava Longshore: Alvin and Simon's triplet sister, who they discover has been living with Vinny forever. This stirs a lot of negative emotions, because Alvin is devastated that Vinny lied to him and kept her and not he and his brothers. She looks exactly like Alvin, but her manner is like Simon's and she has a mild sight-impairment, and wears glasses for reading.
A Day In the Life of Me: Weekdays: I guess I get up, get dressed and ready for school. If I get up really early, I work on homework I've put off. At school I'll be incredibly bored and wish it would end, but then after school I chide myself and tell myself to get a grip and focus on an education.
Despite this scolding, I usually spend the afternoon in my room on my computor doing stuff, or down with my sister and Mum/Dad chatting. I write before bed at about 8:00 - 10:30 before the next day begins again at a 7:00 rise for school.
Weekends: I aim to collect all the work I've done that week and convert important things into study notes. When that gets dull, I'll write, or go for a run or something. Usually, something crops up and my weekends are spent doing nothing, then realizing I should have done something. Chiding myself for not doing anything. Saying I'll do it tomorrow. Repeating the process.
Year and reason I started writing? I started writing 2007, which was the year I finished the Harry Potter series, which I was so distrought over it being the end, I wrote more stories to quench that desire. So the reason was, and will remain, Harry Potter.
Inspirations since: When I signed up for Fanfiction.net, I was wholly a Harry Potter fanatic, but then I saw Alice in Wonderland and my inspiration wavered a little. I planned on writing stories for that genre, but after only a month, I saw the second Alvin and the Chipmuks movie and I fell completely in love with the whole idea. The first story I wrote, I was so anxious to complete that it took me forever and I still haven't finished it, a year on. If that makes sense.
What is that story? It's called "The One that Got Away" and is starting to appear on fanfiction now. The origional is written down in a book I got for my birthday and is 79 pages long, still running. The sequel to it on fanfiction is "Without a Trace", but that idea is a very new one.
My favourite character that I've created: is hard to say, since most are based on my friends, but I know that all of them have a uniqueness that I can't hate nomatter how much I know I should. I suppose I like Sadie. Sadie May Heart, who isn't in any stories at the moment, but I'm sure she will be soon.
My Least favourite character I've created: is Susan Haey, who is featured in The One that Got Away. Why? Well, you'll have to find out. Although she's the most unlovable character I have ever created, I must say she's one of my favourites, too. Also, Ana. she's a little feisty redhead who thinks all the boys have crushes on her so she can flirt with them She's a little crazy.
Craze at the moment: is Alvin and the Chipmunks, and a little bit of How to Train Your Dragon
Funniest memory of writing: is the fact that when I started writing The One that Got Away, I couldn't remember what the chipette with glasses' name was. Soon, I figured it out, changing from Madison to Jeanette. And the fact that a couple pages into it, I found online that they were an old cartoon series, then, there was a third movie coming out 16 of December 2011 and I found their cartoon movies in Video Easy and Blockbuster.
Favourite books: Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson series, Deltora Quest series, Dear Dumb Diary series, ShadowMagic, The Kane Chronicles series, Heroes of Olympus series
Least favourite books: Twilight series & the whole craze - simply because people were too dramatic over it -, but other than that, I love all books I've read.
Fav. Movies: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON!!! Rise of the Guardians, Puss in Boots, Tangled, Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif, Alice in Wonderland, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel, (and a prediction here), Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked, The Chipmunk Adventure, Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet... series, the Curious Case of Bejamin Button, Despicable Me 1 and 2, The Smurfs 1 and 2, Ice Age 1, 2 and 3, and many, many more.
I LOVE kids movies!!! No matter how old I get, that will never change :D
Favourite place in the world: Rio. Then second is Antarctica. Yes, I have seriously been to both :)
"'Cause we'll always think we're different, but we'll always be the same, 'cause we're going one direction, in a million different ways" - Melinda Schneider (Big World)
"It's gonna hurt bad before it gets better" - me :P
"I don't care what people say, the rush is worth the price I pay -" - Ke$ha (Your Love is My Drug)
"They say behind every man is a good woman, but I think that's a lie, 'cause when it comes to you, I'd rather have you by my side" - Keith Urban (You're My Better Half)
"They're always good in the ground" - My Dad
"I betcha thought that I was soft and sweet, you thought an angel swept you off your feet, well I'm about to turn up the heat, I'm here for your entertainment" - Adam Lambert (For Your Entertainment)
Favourite Pairings: From best to worst..?
1. Alvin & Simon - - - I'm so sorry, but they have moved to the top of the list... so you know, I'm not incest, nor do I intend to be, it's just their rivalry that sets it off here, I think. And the fact that Simon has the potential to be the dominent one, since he's taller - you'll learn, below, I have a thing with tall to short.
2. Alvin & Brittany - - - these two are made for each other, and nomatter how much I like the Alvin/Simon pairing, I know and happily accept that it will always be Alvin/Brittany and there is nothing I can do about it.
3. Simon & Brittany - - - There's just something so different about the smartest guy with the rebel girl :)
4. Simon & Jeanette - - - Such a sweet pairing, both are so shy and fun to write about
5. Alvin & Jeanette - - - There's another thing with sweet and rebel clashing here, I can't help but like the irony
(If you haven't noticed, I'm more into Alvin, Simon, Brittany and Jeanette than other characters, but I know that all of them make up who the Chipmunks are and what their story is)
6. Theodore & Eleanor - - - out of all characters, these two I will hardly change as a pairing. I just don't see how the two youngest could be with anyone else
7. Alvin & Eleanor - - - this pairing was an interesting find, and not a bad one, either (with the fact that the two share a love of sports), but it just doesn't seem right to me. But hey, I can't talk, look who's at number one!
8. Theodore & Brittany another interesting find that I did NOT expect to come across, also not too bad, but there's just something wierd with dating a guy who's shorter than the girl... and I don't mean to offend anyone - that's just my preferences, and, as you can see (#1), I'm a little messed-up.
9. Alvin & (my OC) Susan - - - Susan is clingy, but I actually gave their romance a go, and it turned out kinda like Alvin and Jeanette's, except, Susan's a little more awkward, stalkerish, and just not Alvin's type (Sorry Sue :'(... it just won't work out...)
10.Alvin & Theodore/Simon & Theodore - - - both equally as akward as the other, I don't know why these two together seem so wrong and Alvin and Simon seem so right, but it just happened like that... I have no idea...
11. Theodore & Jeanette - - - never really heard about these two, and once again, the whole tall to short thing really bugs me...
12. Simon & Eleanor - - - these two are really rare to find, and it's probably because there is no chemistry able to form between them - they have nothing in common to talk about - except annoying siblings.
Top ten favourite characters in order from best to lowish: These are simply a mix between the Chipmunk characters and the ones I've created :)
1. Alvin Seville
2. Simon Seville
3. Sadie May Heart
4. Cruise Williams
5. Brittany Miller & Natasha Hill
6. Ana Hill
8. Jeanette Miller & Jerimiah
9. Eleanor Miller & Theodore Seville
10. I'm adding in Susan Haey right here so the real-life one won't kill me. (lolz, Krystal :)
