Poll: Do you Alvon fans out there want me to post all of my Alvon stories here, regardless of length or progress status? I have 235 in total - because I'm a nut and writing is my only hobby :p Vote Now!
Author has written 17 stories for Alvin and the chipmunks.
Hello all :D Welcome to my profile!
First, let me explain my PenName: When I signed up for FanFiction.net, I was a major Harry Potter fan, and my favorite character from the series was Ginny (still is, actually). Hence the very 12-Year-Old PenName.
No, my name is not Ginny, it's Emily, but feel free to call me whatever :p
I'm always writing, but only because it's my downtime. Day-to-day, I'm in a Music degree and I'm also studying Sound Design and Animation, all of which are time-consuming and take up creative energy - sometimes enough to stop me writing Alvon.
Like I said, I'm always writing Alvon so I've got a fair few stories stored up over the years - please give a vote to my poll if you're interested in me posting them on FF!
(Thank you to those that have voted so far, I'll be putting up stories once I get 10 votes - I know people don't often visit profiles, so thank you!) (Weeeeell I got impatient and have started, you can find the latest ones below!)
GUYS I have a Facebook page! (Ginnydabomb1996) Hit me up a like if you just want someplace to talk about and support Alvon - there really don't seem to be a multitude of places like that. Also, it's pretty obvious that not many people view profiles, so I'd rather have a medium where I can contact people more directly.
See you round the internet!
Keep a Secret: Working on a new chapter right now, currently 400 words in :D
FOR SPRING 3 (to explain):
I'm at a point where I need to focus on my education/future but I guarantee that this story will continue eventually. I'm really sorry about this.
Spring 3: Undisclosed is on its way!
Being Heard: After Alvin loses his voice, things start to shake up the natural order of the family, and it's not just Alvin who has to deal with it...
- Also on hiatus until I find the inspiration :/
Spring 2: Said and Done - Last spring something happened between Alvin and Simon that they could never live down, and now Simon is stuck with a crush that won't go anywhere, and spring is coming up again. Meanwhile, Alvin has felt almost hollow for the past months and can't figure out why.
This story is all about a fight for love, while the last was getting warmed up to the idea. And if last spring was only a warm-up, what are we in for here..?
COMPLETE :D next book below:
Spring 3: Undisclosed - most obviously the next "book" in the series. In Spring 2: Said and Done, Jeanette had concocted a plan, and as a result, Alvin wasn't himself for three days. This story has a look at what he did, and how he's trying to solve it without knowing exactly what happened.
One more OC is introduced. Or none. (does Charlene count as an OC?) anyway, she may or may not be important ;)
Without a Trace will be updated eventually, sorry, no ETA.
The One That Got Away: I'm probably going to call it quits on this one... the writing is too immature for me now.
Recurring Problems: Is having problems, but I hope to get to it.
Should Have Guessed # 2: Is on my to-do and that's a regrettably long list...
Just For Laughs: Probably done with this one...
Stats About My Stories: My word limit for a chapter in a series is 4,000. Anything over and it's just too long. For a one-shot, its more a 10,000 limit, but I'd never get to writing that much in a chapter anyway.
I've written 2 stories for Alvin/Brittany and 8 for Alvin/Simon, then 1 with no pairing and no real plot (Just For Laughs).
I have a bad habit of writing all the time, and so I usually update a story in well under a week. But, I can be detained, whether unintentionally (homework, camp, holidays and angry parents), or because I'm working on a different story that's just going much better.
Year and reason I started writing? I started writing 2007, which was the year I finished the Harry Potter series, and I was so distraught over it being the end, I wrote more stories to quench that desire. So the reason was, and will remain, Harry Potter.
Inspirations since: When I signed up for Fanfiction.net, I was wholly a Harry Potter fanatic, but then I saw Tim B's Alice in Wonderland, and my inspiration wavered a little. I planned on writing stories for that genre, but after only a month, I saw the second Alvin and the Chipmunks movie and I fell completely in love with the whole idea. The first story I wrote, I was so anxious to complete that it took me forever and I still haven't finished it, a year on. If that makes sense.
My favourite character that I've created: is hard to say, since most are based on my friends, but I know that all of them have a uniqueness that I can't hate no matter how much I know I should. I suppose I like Sadie. Sadie May Heart, who isn't in any stories at the moment, but I'm sure she will be soon.
My Least favourite character I've created: is Susan Haey, who is featured in The One that Got Away. Why? Well, you'll have to find out. Although she's the most unlovable character I have ever created, I must say she's one of my favourites, too.
Craze at the moment: is Alvin and the Chipmunks, a little bit of How to Train Your Dragon, and a large dollup of Teen Titans (BEAST BOY IS BAE)
Funniest memory of writing: is the fact that when I started writing The One that Got Away, I couldn't remember what the chipette with glasses' name was. Soon, I figured it out, changing from Madison to Jeanette. And the fact that a couple pages into it, I found online that they were an old cartoon series, then, there was a third movie coming out 16 of December 2011 and I found their cartoon movies in Video Easy and Blockbuster.
Favourite books: Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson series, Deltora Quest series, Dear Dumb Diary series, ShadowMagic, The Kane Chronicles series, Heroes of Olympus series
Fav. Movies: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON, Rise of the Guardians, Puss in Boots, Tangled, Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Theif, Alice in Wonderland, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Alvin and the Chipmunks 2: The Squeakquel, (and a prediction here), Alvin and the Chipmunks 3: Chipwrecked, The Chipmunk Adventure, Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet... series, the Curious Case of Bejamin Button, Despicable Me 1 and 2, The Smurfs 1 and 2, Ice Age 1, 2 and 3, and many, many more.
I LOVE kids movies!!! No matter how old I get, that will never change :D
Favourite place in the world: Rio. Then second is Antarctica. Yes, I have been to both :)
Alvon (Alvin x Simon):These two enamour me. From the instant WHAT??? factor to their chemistry, these two remain my OTP, and I really don't mind anymore if people judge me for that. Opinions, opinions.
Alvittany (Alvin x Brittany): Yes, that's right, an Alvon fan whose second favourite pairing is canon. I always, always, always have respect for this pairing and I love the idea. As of now, I find it just a tad bit cliche to write about, so I stick with Alvon.
Brimon (Brittany x Simon): Just... pretty much the legal version of Alvon, with little bits that are very different.
Least Favourite Pairings:
1. Alvin x Theodore: Nope, can't do it. I understand (to an extent) the infatuation, but I find it really unsettling to read, personally. It also never seems to be just Alvin and Theodore. There's always Simon coming into it, and it turns into a threesome or hints a threesome. And that's even more unsettling. I'm not trying to judge, and I won't EVER flame someone's story for it, even if they've surprised me with it. I'll never shut someone down for taking their time to write.
2. Simon x Theodore: Same thing, really. Just... unsettling. Again: I wouldn't hate on it. If I had to read it, I'd still pick out the positives.
3. Brittany x Eleanor: Ellie is my favourite Chipette, and to me, things just wouldn't work with Brittany... it'd take some weird, strange miracle for these two to fall in love without it being centered around sex (which is what I've read mostly when it comes to these two). I dunno. I guess it's for the same reasons as the first two.
4. Simon x Jeanette: Holy wow I'm finally getting this off my chest - SIMONETTE MAKES NO SENSE and it makes me depressed thinking about their future. Jeanette is such a damper on Simon - he would have to stifle the best parts of his personality with her: his sarcasm and that sassy wit that every Simon fan loves. And GAWD if ONE MORE PERSON says they belong together "cause they're both smart and wear glasses" I will administer a digital slap!
I hope you enjoy my stories as much as I enjoy writing them!
Don't read what you know will disappoint you. Don't waste your time flaming something you hate. Please be open-minded and respectful of the time and effort that goes into each and every story on this amazing website. It's "unleash your imagination" not "let's all be canon". However, canon should never be underestimated because that IS how the REAL characters will end up, and if you deny that you'll just be disappointed.
LOVE THE NEW TV SERIES!!!
