Ni hao ma. Konnichiwa. Ciao. Hola. Bonjour. Hi. Just Watanabe Maya here, greeting you all with a big hello. :D
I never have a consistent narrative style. because every character has a different story and a different way of living out that story. The scenes play out in my mind, the characters come alive, and I have no other choice than to simply put down what I witness into words. :)
Writing in Retrospect:
No one can say exactly, with a precise, perfect definition, what love really is. It is copious and abundant; a vast expanse of descriptions and forms. And all our stories are but renditions of feelings, of emotions, and opinions influenced by the individuality of our psyches. But the words with which we use to describe the love that we feel and experience, as well as the love that we observe and see, is the only way in which we can convey the numerous forms of this beauty to others. It is an art. Every story and literary piece that an author creates weaves a new definition to love; as our words, like colors, vividly enhance its beauty.
I believe everyone deserves to be appreciated - from mangakas to editors; directors to animators; scriptwriters to voice actors/actresses; authors to artists - regardless of whether one is a novice, a freelancer, or a professional. Reviews and comments are wonderful things; when one's judgment and occasional advice is passed down onto another, so long as they are not deprecating and odious. Writing is a form of self-expression; an exhibit of our talents and support for the shows which we love. We, as a fan-base, are a community and we are united by the same cause - show - for which we support. And, I believe, that opinions regarding shippings are all personal and should be respected. No one has the right to force their ideals *ahem, shove their opinions down another's throat, ahem*; as no one deserves to be put down for their choices and preferences.
With all that being said, I will not wage wars against those whose ships contradict mine. It is your choice and opinion, and I respect that. Nor will I tolerate, however, flaming insults against the pairings which I -as well as a number of other people- support; both in canon and fanon verses. I am a fangirl, and I am more than willing to go down with my ships. :)
