![]() Yay, bio time! I grew up in the South but have lived in the Midwest and on the West Coast. I currently reside in Oregon. Five years ago, after being laid off from my job, I fell headfirst into the world of Austen fic. Despite my patchy attendance here, it's a world I still occupy. I am still working on my one and only story, Briars in the Road. For the past five years it has been rewritten, revised and revamped so much that it hardly resembles what you read here, but I hope that should a publisher find it worthy it will be as well received by the world at large as it has been by this amazing community. If you're curious about the title, it comes from Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. "A cucumber is bitter. Throw it away. There are briars in the road. Turn aside from them. This is enough. Do not add, "And why were such things made in the world?" |
