Author has written 8 stories for Twilight.
My name is Sue. I'm a twenty-something year old female from Germany, trying her hand at writing.
I'm not a native English speaker, and neither have I studied the language or creative writing in college. I'm dong it for the fun, mostly. Stringing random words together and putting your thoghts to paper is a lot of fun, as much as it is a pain in the butt. Most of all, it's a learning process. The more you do it, the easier it comes to you; learning by doing and all that jazz.
I still like Twilight, though probabaly not as much as I used to. It's the only fandom I'm interested in, and I can't see that changing anytime soon. I'm still an avid fic rearder, and eternally amazed how many super-talented writers are to be found on here.
Oh yeah, there is also this thing where I have a crush on Robert Pattinson.
I also like all kinds of books, movies and music. Getting lost in the imagination of others is one of my favorite things to do.

I know it's been a long while, and that I've said it several times before, but I mean it when I say that my WIP, RITD, will be finished!
It was never a question whether I'm going to finish it or not, but how long it would take me. As a fic reader, I'm fully aware of how frustrating it can be for readers to having to wait months and months for an update to happen. I really do. The thing is, though, that being the one to write the stories can just be as frustrating - if not even more so. When you find that the thoughts and scenes you made up in your head refuse to be put into words, or completely escape you, and you are left staring at that blinking cursor on a white screen for weeks, months and longer - it's this hair-pulling kind of madness.
Also, I admit to having made a lot of mistakes writing that story the way I did. When I started, I had no beta, pre-reader or anything in this fandom. It really was just me typing away what came to mind, and it showed. The writing was sloppy, there were/are plotholes, the dialogues were choppy, and let's not start on the grammar. It got a little better over time, but it was only after I made friends within this fandom and pushed myself out there a little more, that I realized just how bad things really were/are. Eventually, I found betas to work with and things were good for a while, but the more I revised on past chapters while simultaneously working on upcoming chapters, the unhappier I got with the whole thing. It ended with me typing myself into a corner and getting so frustrated that I had to step away from it. The words just wouldn't come, and the more time passed, the more detached from it I grew.
Now, I'm still frustrated about it all. However, I'm finding my way back to writing.
I'm currently writing for the Twi25 contetst, and then maybe work on a little Christmas thing. That's a big fat maybe, though.
After that, I'm planning to get back to RITD. Trust me when I say that this unfisnished business bothers me as much as it bothers you. The remaining chapters posted will get beta'd, if not re-written, and the story will be finished!
And if it's the last thing I do!
I just hope that some of you guys will stick around to see that day coming. ;D
