Author has written 20 stories for Torchwood.
I never want to be considered normal or average. That said in some things I am frightining normal and average. I have wicked sense of dark dry humour. I have been saved many times by imagination - this is espcially true for my working life - where it is possible to lose the will to live ( I work in a call centre). Well I did ask for a 40 hr working week with no heavy lifting where I could ultilize my ability to talk and within a week I had a job (be careful what you wish for). It can't be too bad I have been there over 11 years. A bonus is I get paid a shit load of money that allows me to indulge my obbessions and a great deal of time to think.
I have been writing just about my whole life starting with the orignal Star Trek. I have files of next gen stories all 'Marysues' and I promise, hand on heart I will never publish them.
I occasionlly suffer delusions of adequacy and compentancy that I can actually write.
I have a life long passion for all things science fiction. I was part of the first generation to see the first episode of DR Who and never stopped watching.
Love- Dr Who, Blake's 7, Babylon 5, Torchwood, Start Trek original series, STNG.
I'm a bit mad about Sharpe - Books and TV series-and Sean Bean.
Love miltiary history, esp WW2 Russian History- love that T34 tank.
I hate all predudice and intolerance on any level.
That includes anyone who wishes to censor writers who may need a bit of help with their grammer or just dislike their story idea. All writers have to start somewhere.
Burning passion for all learning and knowledge.
