I am primarily a Harry Potter fanfic writer...although I have been wanting to write some Sherlock fanfiction...maybe one day...
Some of my favorite pairings are:
- Hermione X Severus (my favorite), Severus X Harry, Hermione X Draco, Draco X Harry, Hermione X Lucius, Hermione X Remus & Harry X Luna...& many more.
While I freely admit that I am not the best writer in the world I love writing. I love reading and I am a huge bibliophile! Last count of books I have in my personal library is 287...and counting... If I don't update a story it is more than likely because I have become lost in the pages of a book.
My favorite Authors are: Jane Austen, Jk. Rowling & Georgette Heyer
My favorite Books are:
- HP & the Sorcerers Stone: I think it's all about it being the one that started it all...I still feel so excited every time I re-read it!
- Pride & Prejudice: I love Elizabeth Bennet's character...mainly her wit and sarcastic comments...
- There are many others but I am too lazy to list them here.
Here are some quotes that make me all warm and fuzzy inside:
“"There is neither happiness nor unhappiness in this world; there is only the comparison of one state with another. Only a man who has felt ultimate despair is capable of feeling ultimate bliss. It is necessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live…..the sum of all human wisdom will be contained in these two words: Wait and Hope."
"If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."
"It seems to me that the task of the unfinished woman is to acknowledge her life as a work in progress, allowing each passage, evolution, experience to offer wisdom for her soul." -- Joan Anderson, page 170.
"Not all those who wander are lost. - J.R.R. Tolkien"
"I am half agony, half hope..."
“Every book, every volume you see here, has a soul. The soul of the person who wrote it and of those who read it and lived and dreamed with it. Every time a book changes hands, every time someone runs his eyes down its pages, its spirit grows and strengthens.”
"A room without books is like a body without a soul." Marcus Tullius Cicero
"My idea of good company is the company of clever, well-informed people who have a great deal of conversation; that is what I call good company." -- Jane Austen
