Author has written 13 stories for Harry Potter, Pokémon, and Rise of the Guardians.
Hi, I'm c-creon! Complete dork and addict of many fandoms
CURRENTLY RESIDING: PHILIPPINES :)
I'm really fond of HARRY POTTER. It's a classic how could I NOT love it??
Next book is PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS. Definitely one of Rick Riordan's best works TTuTT
THE HEROES OF OLYMPUS were pretty good too. I got attached to the characters despite them being new. Although the ending of Blood of Olympus kind of sucked, there were some perks like JASON'S GLASSES AND EVERYONE HUGGING NICO AND SOLANGELO AND AHHHHH
HUNGER GAMES is an amazing series as well!
I read MORTAL INSTRUMENTS and I stopped liking it during Lost Angels. Although it's the most relatable and had the most accurate portrayal of teenagers in any book I've read EVER, storywise, it went downhill after the third book.
I read BEFORE I FALL and loved it! The character development and the ending really hooked me up.
FLIPPED. ADORE IT
A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS is also good. Tragic and it brings up good points about life. It also helped me in expanding my grammar and vocabulary skills :P Thank you, Lemony Snicket!
OH MY GOODNESS THIRTEEN REASONS WHY is a beautiful book! It really goes deep into troubled teen's (or maybe children and adults too) mind.
Read DIVERGENT. Only the first book though! Wasn't that much into it. I was going to continue reading the other two books but my friend FUCKIN SPOILED IT so yeah I have no intention to finishing the series now TTuTT
I'm reading THE NAME OF THIS BOOK IS SECRET and the first thought that came across my mind was it had an 'A Series of Unfortunate Events' aura around it. The warnings, the way it was written...I'm not discriminating any of them. I'm beginning to like the series...trust me.
DELIRIUM has a wonderful idea and the plot is really good. Though, that ending in the third book was...horrible.
The CIRQUE DU FREAK or DARREN SHAN series is awesome! Really freaky and gory (which I love...others might not like it) and it has a lot of twists.
I read HOLES for a school thing, and it's by far my favorite. Everything's connected to everything. All events were well thought off and the lessons were clear.
THE GIVER is rather tragic. I like it nonetheless.
UNCHANGED is, I think, the only non-fiction book I've read. I almost cried and it really brought up some issues we have here in the Philippines.
I read a lot of R.L. Stine books, mostly Fear Street, and let me tell you, it's awesome. Each story is unique and really tingles your spine.
THE UNBECOMING OF MARA DYER was suggested to me by a friend and it was such a well-written book with good ambiance and an interesting story! The couple's really lovey-dovey (which isn't really my thing but I appreciate all the fluff) but they have good chemistry.
I've read the first book of THE MAZE RUNNER and in all honesty, it wasn't really the best, especially since I've had high expectations for it (my friend kept telling me how good the book was when she read it). Writing style was repetitive and I really hoped the author could've gone through the more descriptive approach when it comes to describing the maze (cuz I really didn't feel the creepiness of the place whenever the characters were there). Be that as it may, the story was good and the plot's interesting enough. What's really got me hooked were the characters (despite me knowing their impending doom ahahha)
SHATTER ME was also suggested to me by a friend. Although the writing style was unique (I mean how many books have you encountered that have that kind of writing style???) and the author really brought out the inner turmoil of the character, the girl was just extremely annoying -_- Although her craving for physical contact and intimate relationships are understandable and maybe even justifiable, I couldn't stand reading more of it. Though I still enjoyed the concept of it all because really...it has one of the most interesting ideas so far.
I've also read EVERYDAY which was such a beautiful book. I wasn't really into the 'falling in love in a split second' kind of beginning, but the book made it up with such a thrilling and thought-provoking continuation and finish.
Also, after watching the movie, I've read BATTLE ROYALE which immediately became one of my favorite books so far. Each student had their own development and story and that ending was brought on perfectly. I especially liked the descriptive gore :P
I just adore Fruits Basket. Best Romance Manga I've read so far. (Finished)
Kimi ni Todoke is also a good one. THEY FINALLY GOT TOGETHER MY GOD (Still Reading)
High School of the Dead has amazing art and an interesting story despite the heavy fanservice. (Finished, but incomplete)
The Manga Chobits is a touching one. I also ignore the inappropriate drawings there. I look more in the story. Very good romance story. (Finished)
I wouldn't forget Pokemon Adventures of course! Definitely better than the anime in plot and art. Scanlations got a little messed up in the HGSS arc but I've read a few pages of Black and White and aahhh BLACKKKKK. (Still Reading, but incomplete)
Kare Wa Tomodachi was a good short read.
Elfen Lied is a masterpiece! The soundtrack and the ambiance was really spot on. It made me cry and it made me laugh and I hate how people judge it. It's a beautiful manga and I recommend it.
I like gory and psychotic, so I liked Mirai Nikki. It was weird and epic at the same time.
I just watched the anime and read the manga of Ouran HighSchool Host Club and I'll just say that the manga really gave a complete finish to it all. Starts out as lighthearted but ends up riping your heart out from your chest from all the sadness and cuteness and feelingssss
Soul Eater really stuck to me mainly because of it's unique grotesque and horror style and because of the characters (specifically character designs). Both anime and manga endings could've finished better, but the overall concept is unique and fun.
Fullmetal Alchemist is a masterpiece. The only one I've finished, however, was the manga. I stopped a few episodes into the '03 and brotherhood versions but each version was still amazing as ever. The '03 version doesn't really follow through with the manga but it's still awesome from what I could tell. The themes and overall lesson and vision of the series were very thought-provoking and well thought out.
Shingeki No Kyojin is another extremely unique manga. Focusing on an overall maturish and serious theme, several issues were brought up by this manga that aren't really that light-hearted. What really irks me are the continuous introduction of mysteries and stories that have yet to be resolved. Yes, the most recent chapter has brought some light into the unanswered questions, but it's still as vague as ever. Also, the characters, for me, are becoming less likable in each chapter. Good thing is that the art really improves and, despite the confusion brought up by each unanswered plot, the story is well-paced and continues to be interesting.
Scorpius Malfoy/Rose Weasley
Teddy Lupin/ Victoire Weasley
Neville/Luna (they're cute but I could totally friendship them too)
Most favorite line yet:
