Author has written 11 stories for Naruto, and Yu-Gi-Oh GX.
August 6, 2015: I just passed a fanfic milestone! Love Between Sand and Nature has received 100 favorites! It took 5 years, but woo-hoo!
April 29, 2015: Lost Blue-Eyed Child had been Completed! Now I can focus on Going Pro, however my muse is all over the place and I seem to be writing everything BUT Going Pro. I'll try to get the next chapter up soonish. Don't be surprised if I start posting a new story too.
April 11, 2015: Grr, FF.Net changed the aspect ratio of the images for both profiles and story covers. Now I have to go fix a bunch of them... On another note, I'm very close to finishing the next chapter of Lost Blue-Eyed Child. I didn't write much at all the last few weeks because my spare time was used to make a new cosplay. I learned how to make armor! Neat right? Next chapter coming soon!
March 17, 2015: Still working on the chapter 6 of Lost Blue-Eyed Child, it's getting there. Totally blew past my posting date goal, but don't worry, it'll be posted soon.
January 29, 2015: At long last, the first update of the year with Going Pro! Updated it in less than 90 days! I normally always try to update in 60 days or less, but this time was the exception. Keep a look out for additional updates.
December 3, 2014: Upcoming chapter for both Lost Blue-Eyed Child and Going Pro are going to be behind this month. I'm working a new job which turns out I hate and saps me of any remaining energy to do anything at all, and I've got a lot of other things to get done, finding a new job among them. I'm working on it, just much slower. Sometimes it's not even a sentence a day. If you're familiar with my self-set update schedule, you know I don't go over two-months between updates. I've been good about updating regularly and when I say so. Just letting you all know what's up.
September 10, 2014: I'm working on posting/updating two fics right now. I normally don't post two stories at once, but the Jesse story is going to be fairly long still with a few more story arcs to go, and the blue-eyed child mystery story is going to be on the short side with just one story arc. I'm also working on a couple other new stories behind the scenes still, but I won't start posting them until I get the full outlines done and some major kinks worked out.
August 12, 2014: Got around to posting a one-shot I started months ago. I finished it last week, but I wanted to update Going Pro first, and I needed to let the one-shot sit on the back burner for a little while so I could go back and read over it to find as many errors or typos as I could. I used to say I would never write a tragedy, however, I wanted to see for myself how a possible ending might have ended for the Prince/Haou and Yubel. I don't know how it really ended for them, but it didn't seem to end all that well.
April 2, 2014: Keeping the English names in Going Pro. Remember, if the names bother you, you can always copy/paste into a text editor and use replace all. I know it's been eight chapters, but I'm getting really close to the Crystal Beasts and started wondering about whether Gem Beast would be better, etc. Here is a small guide of some names that will be used soon:
You want to know about me? Well...
I'm also known under the screen name Ravus4001. You may call be by either screen name.
How I started: On another site in 2008 I started out with Gaara from Naruto fanfiction since the series had a large world and tons untold story which made it easy to manipulate for fics. Writing was meant to be for typing improvement and to practice for original stories I wanted to work on after I leveled up. It’s given reason to research all sorts of interesting little facts that I might have never considered before. I also found writing to be therapeutic, so I kept writing fan fiction.
The writing process: I have a strong background in preproduction, so I research, plan, and make the full outline. Then I wait awhile before I actually write it out. This is to see if I like the idea or if I'm still willing to go through with the final process. If I don't know where to start or end a story, it gets set aside before I can get stuck. Having complete outlines prevents lagging for several months between updates as long as I have drive and motive. I no longer have a beta reader, so my postproduction process has been lacking, so forgive me for any errors that get passed me.
When I receive Reviews: I read all of them and I will reply to reviews occasionally if your Private Messaging is allowed. PM is fine for questions and pointing out an error/typo. If you used Guest to review about errors, then I won't keep it because I fix things right away, but I still appreciate you taking the time to do so.
If I reviewed something of yours: If I said something at all, it's to offer recognition, advice/tips, and subtle encouragement. If you don't like what I said in a review, that's okay, but it is not intended as a negative comment to stop writing. Don't take anything I said personally or as negative. I'm not a very good critic, but I will often try to find something that can be improved upon. I want to see you continue to level up as a writer by improving whatever you can or based on community suggestions.
Fanart and Promotional Art: All my artwork for my fics can be found at . Linking to the pictures within the chapters is not allowed on FF.Net, so you may use the following links for direct gallery destinations. Ange Clair - Adventures of the Sand Siblings - Love Between Sand & Nature - Akatsuki AUs - Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
Me and Shipping/OTPs: I'm not much of a shipper. I ship a little, but I don't have an OTP for every fandom I'm interested in. If it's canon, then I'm usually okay with it. I'm open to canon/OCs pairings too. Sometimes none of the characters are a good match, people don't always end up with their first love, and sometimes people will meet someone else later in life. For my own writing, I may experiment with ships/pairings, sometimes because I like them, sometimes because I want to see how it may play out. It's all good.
