Chosen by Destiny
Boondock Saints/Supernatural crossover series, an AU where the two worlds fused together.
(Interludes were stories that only contained Supernatural characters that were not the Winchester brothers, and italic title for those that had yet to post.)
1. Il Duce returned to Ireland after the execution of Papa Joe and left his boys in the US.
--//since I didn't know how to fit him into the story
2. The MacManus twins were 25 when they executed Papa Joe which in turn made them two years younger then that mentioned in the delete scene and also a couple months younger than Dean Winchester.
--//and the reason for this setting would come clear after the angels join in the story-line
3. Murphy couldn't drive and Connor couldn't cook.
--//just because 75% (6 out of 8) of the BDS fanfics I've read up to now that mentioned anything about driving said Murphy couldn't drive, and 100% (4 out of 4) that mentioned anything about cooking said Connor cooked like Arthur Kirkland (meaning he's a lousy cook)
4. Neither set of brothers or any mentioned male characters for that matter were, um, attracted to men.
--//because, well, it wasn't in the canon(!!)
I. Familiar Strangers
Slight spoilers for SPN episode 1x01, 1x07, 1x11, 1x15.
After the execution of Papa Joe, the MacManus twins first set out for California to evade the authorities, then later started a game of hide-and-seek with the police around the corners of the US. But some sort of divine forces must have intentionally drew them towards the Winchester brothers for them to just miss so many times.
II. Hunters Hunted
Change of scenes in the SPN episode 1x15 The Benders.
Dean Winchester and Connor MacManus finally got to know each other. It's just unfortunate their respective younger siblings decided to went missing together when they turned their backs.
III. They What!
Both sets of brothers had doubts about whether the other were as civilian as they claimed to be after the conflict with the Bender family. And two days later, a pair discovered they'd met some seriously dangerous men while the other pair were lead to misunderstandings.
Interlude I. Half Missing
Slight spoilers for SPN episode 2x05 Simon Said.
Ansem Weems by chance met the MacManus twins in Oklahoma (before they got to California) and the events that leaded to his obsession to be close to his own twin brother.
IV. Wednesday, Wednesdays
Spoilers for SPN episode 3x11 Mystery Spot.
The MacManus twins had thought Dean was a bad man as stated in the police files for almost two years so when they happened to come across the Winchester brothers in Broward County, Dean was immediately marked as their next target. But as Sam got out of his Tuesdays-loop only to find Connor–for real–ending the life of his brother, Murphy started one in the following Wednesday(s). A set of brothers just weren't enough for the trickster aka archangel to play with, or maybe there were more than one lesson that needed to be taught.
V. Title-not-decided (might take place during SPN 3x15 Time is on My Side)
VI. Contaminate (INCOMPLETE)
Slight spoilers for SPN episode 4x02 Are You There God? It's Me, Dean Winchester.
When one of their mark turned out to be a demon, the MacManus twins were dragged into the domain of the supernatural. Before they know it they were caught in an overall war between the angels and demons, and maybe they weren't as irrelevant in THIS war as they first thought themselves to be.
Interlude II. Define Human (INCOMPLETE)
Slight spoilers for SPN episode 4x09 I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Connor had went through more mental traumas than any man could possibly endure and all he wanted was to get out and hope the Lord could save his soul, but why was Murphy acting so strange? And just who was Ruby?
VII. Lethal Addiction (takes place from the end of SPN 4x20 The Rapture to SPN 4x21 When the Levee Breaks)
Spoilers for SPN episode 4x21 When the Levee Breaks.
On the second day after Sam been locked in the Panic Room, Dean received a call from Connor. And when the elder Winchester was asked whether demon blood's addictive, he knew something was wrong.
IIX. Voice from Heaven (takes place from the end of SPN season4 to the beginning of SPN season5)
Slight spoilers for SPN episode 5x03 Free to be You and Me.
If you wanted to fix something, you had to take it apart before putting the pieces back together. The MacManus twins weren't as lucky as the Winchester brothers to receive the help from God, and Connor had to take matters into his own hands if wanting to save Murphy... by making the ultimate sacrifice himself.
IX. All Wrong (takes place during SPN 5x04 The End)
Spoilers for SPN episode 5x04 The End.
When Dean were sent five years into the future by Zachariah, he saw a world devastated beyond repair. And if seeing himself turned into a cold-blooded dick was depressing, it was nowhere near seeing Castiel as a drug addicted hippy or semi-sober Murphy openly abuse his twin.
X. Title-not-decided (might take place from around SPN mid-season5 to SPN season5 final)
I start thinking about writing BDS/SPN crossovers because the keen similarities the two pairs of brothers share.
It started with a simple scene-changing of the SPN episode 1x15, but then I happened to stumble across two angels one day that, to me, just screamed Connor and Murphy. And so, a crossover evolved into whole series of crossovers.
The Last Five Millennium
Duel Monster-centric Yugioh fanfic trilogy and side stories, timeline set from the beginning of the world to modern time.
(Italic title for those that had yet to post.)
1. The world of Monsters was a world born from darkness (Yami), a non-continuous Idealism world where nothing was real and only thoughts matter; the world of the living was a world born from light (Hikari), a continuous Materialism world where there was actual life (and death). Shadow Realm was the place in between and NOT the place Monsters lived.
2. The three Egyptian Gods– Obelisk the Tormentor, Slifer the Sky Dragon, the Winged Dragon of Ra– were the manifestation of Hikari separated into three; Leviathan was the manifestation of Yami when taken Dartz as sacrifice and Zorc Necrophades was when taken Bakura, which means they were one and the same.
--//because I don't like evil monsters keep coming and coming only for the sake of lousy disconnected plots
3. Ancient Egyptians believe there are five parts to a person's soul: Ren (the name), Ba (the personality), Ka (the life force), Ib (the heart), and Sheut (the shadow). I toyed with the concept and created a belief of this world, giving a new definition to the Spirit (the Ba and/or Ib) and the Soul (the Ka and/or Sheut).
All living beings have a Ba and a Ka but only few can create an Ib from the Ba or a Sheut from the Ka; one doesn't need to be human to do so (Silver Fang/Skye).
All Monsters, with the exception of those with the Divine Attribute, originate from living beings though a rare few can once again cross into the living by recreating their Ba and/or Ka (Silver Fang/Skye).
Those with the Attribute of Light and Fire only has Ib; as oppose, those with the Attribute of Dark and Water only has Sheut; however, those of Wind and Earth has both Ib and Sheut.
(1) Monsters of the Divine Attribute can either has Ib (Obelisk the Tormentor; Slifer the Sky Dragon; The Winged Dragon of Ra) or Sheut (Leviathan, Zorc Necrophades) or both (Timaeus, Legendary Knight of Justice; Critias, Legendary Knight of Wisdom; Helmos, Legendary Knight of Renewal).
(2) Living beings that combine the Ba and Ka would become Monsters with both Ib and Sheut regardless of Attribute (Dark Magician/Mahaad; Blue-Eyes White Dragon/Kisara).
(3) Monsters that pass as living beings by creating a Ba or Ka from their Ib or Sheut may only have one of either.
(4) Yugi Motou and Ryou Bakura were both born with only their Ba.
Part I. The Fall of Atlantis (INCOMPLETE)
How Timaeus, Critias, and Helmos come into being; the prosper of the great kingdom of Atlantis and finally its downfall in the great war as the three legendary knights struggle with their bonds of friendship and the emotions that they had thought lost long ago in the cruel tides of time... the heart which would mourn for those that had died and the volition to fight for those still among the living.
Part II. The Catastrophe of Ancient Egypt (takes place during the Ancient Egyptian timeline)
Atem, Seth, and Jahi– the reincarnations of the three legendary knights– after five millennium of peace were reborn into the realm of light, but completely powerless with only the strength of any other mortal soul.
An Egyptian monarch, a peasant-raised high priest of the royal blood, and a plebeian outlaw... when responsibility, affection, and malignity clashes, could they still stay true to the vows of friendship they made from the life before? Or would they end up being at each others' throats?
Part III. Title-not-decided
Side Story I. The Last of Irezza (INCOMPLETE)
Magician of Black Chaos had vowed to find Legendary Knight of Justice's lost Ren and scattered pieces of soul...IF the great knight still lived. But the realm of light was more hostile (and frustrating) than the magician had first anticipated and with every step he took, the incompatible realm threatened to dismember his recreated Ka and claim him to the Afterlife–a place he certainly didn't belong.
Side Story II. The Remains of Memory (takes place after the Ancient Egyptian timeline)
Mahaad had never thought much of worlds outside his previous homeland in Egypt...until he walked the realm of darkness as Dark Magician.
There he discovered stories of destroyed lands carefully recorded and passed down via the hands of Monsters, only to salvage the last memory of their once upon Masters. But he certainly wasn't expecting to come across the origin of his name and blood. He had once thought giving his life to eternal loyalty was a sacrifice, but now he realized maybe this realm was the place he really belonged after all.
I've always adored the dragon knights but sadly, few of their story existed. So it looks like I'll have to write my own.
And it happened that I'm also interested as to why a few noted Monsters became Yugi's servants, so I gather all the coincidences that I can find, build a story around it, and hope dearly it won't collide with the canon... too much.
Kuriboh: A loyal servant? Or may he actually be... a devoted friend?
Dark Magician: Though technically human, Mahaad wielded powers like those of actual spellcasters. What was he? Where did he come from and where did he belong?
Dark Magician Girl: Dark Magician Girl and Mana. The manifest of conscience in the broken land of Atlantis? A magician apprentice during Ancient Egypt? What was her real identity?
Magician of Black Chaos: A story told of the three swordsmen of black magic and how their fates intertwined.
Black Luster Soldier: Though without any known obligation, during the Egyptian Memory Arc he still answered the Game King's desperate call. Why? What's the reason for him to take action?
Celtic Guardian: Often overlooked but never ignored, a relatively young warrior who always find himself standing at destiny's crossroads.
Maha Vailo: A magician who never quite seen the battlefields, but had somehow been singled out as the one Yugi most related to. A story behind a Monster who seemingly to be always absent and the Master he once served.
Silent Swordsman, Silent Magician: Both possessed drastically different images when summoned by Yugi and shared a degree of resemblance with his two greatest adversaries. What's the secrets they kept... and maybe also shared... in their silence?
Due to some difficulties I face in real life (plus my easily distracted personality), I wouldn't be able to up-date as often as I like.
Another thing is, I usually work on two or more stories at the same time and not always in the advised reading sequences, so I have to apologize in advance to those of you who wished to read it in order.
An important note is that I DO NOT write sappy romance-centrics, as there are already more than enough of them floating around FFN.
