Define Nation: A large aggregate of people united by common descent, history, culture, or language, inhabiting a particular country or territory. (aka not country)
Canada isn't really invisible. He's just quiet, shy, doesn't like the spot light and doesn’t like attention. He does however have a fairly big inner ego (a recent poll showed that Canadians and Australians think the highest of their own country)
America recognizes Canada easily (Shown in manga). He just pretends not to in front of other nations to make him mad.
There is a Quebec/French Canada nation-tan (sometimes called Jean because Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day is also the Quebec national holiday and patron saint of Quebec) because Quebec was declared a nation within a nation
France is misunderstood and has seen a lot of tragedy in his life. The only girl he ever loved died at his hand (or his boss’s) and almost all his colonies were taken by Britain (Canada and Seychelles in the anime). This explains his tendencies to hit on everything that moves and to want to be everyone’s big brother.
A nation dies or disappeared when there is nobody that associates themselves with the nation.
I have no idea what to make of Prussia yet… I’ve heard good theories though.
When a nation gets injured, captured ect. It results in a decrease in morale for the people of the nation (in war time it would mean less fighting spirit, in peacetime less economic development due to laziness) the intensity depends on the injury
When a nation is “killed” it takes some time (from a few days to a year) to reappear depending on the condition of the country. A kill would also result in a decrease in moral on a much larger scale.
