I started this account in May 2010 but before that I read lots of fanfics. For people who don't like long profiles i'll try to keep it short. (but if I put a book review or two at the end, it'll surely be a bit longer than intended)
Random Facts about me:
I am a total book adict. (if anyone knows a good book recomend it to me and it. It also explains my Username.)
I am in the gifted program (i think it's sort of stupid that a government standard test determins that. I believe everyone is gifted at something)
I have an annoying younger brother , but I still love him anyways.
I am a true Canadian and always will be. Go Canada!!!!!!
I am a devoted catholic and I actually go to charch every Sunday (but I'm not the type to go around randomly praying every hour).
I love drinking tea (except Chamomile and Mint. Although I like other mint stuff)
I'm Asian. GO ASIANS!!!
I like learning random facts about things.
I am a supporter of saving the enviroment and am against global warming (Then again, who isn't. But I'm not one of those completely obsessed people)
Way too sappy stories. That have way too perfect happy endings. (e.g. Shrinking Violet By: Danielle Joseph)
Deleted Fanfics (that is so annoying since it leaves you hanging, especially if you really liked it)
The fact that there is only one font and one font size on this website (not everyone has 20/20 vision) EDIT: Apparently you can make the text size bigger but it doesn't work that well on mobile (it auto scrolls back up the page)
People who write completely unoriginal totally ripped off from other people stories.
The fact that there is no spell check on this website (some people [cough] have sooooo many spelling errors in their stories that you can't possibly read them) EDIT: Someone informed me that there's spell check, SO WHY ISN'T ANYONE WHO CAN'T SPELL USING IT?????
Greenwashed people who say/advertise "eco-friendly" products.
Me (reading package): By buying this ecofriendly product made of bamboo, you are saving our trees and preserving our wildlife in Canada.
Me (speaking): But meanwhile in China, the endangered pandas are dying from lack of food [cough] bamboo!
Why people argue whether apple are better that oranges or vise versa.
What is between air particles (you can't say nothing!)
Why people claim they make eco-friendly stuff then package it in a million layers of plastic.
What is normal (should there be a definition for that word? But then again “To define is to limit.” ― Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray)
Why people mostly write romantic fanfictions.
List of Favourite book series (Of course I can't list them all. There would be too many.):
Percy Jackson and Olympians Series By: Rick Riordan
Alex Rider By: Anthony Horowitz (I didn't like the ending of Crocodile Tears though)
H.I.V.E. By: Mark Walden (The 3rd book finally came to Canada!)
Artemis Fowl By: Eoin Colfer
Harry Potter By: J.K. Rowling (although by now, probably nearly everyone has read it. I consider it a modern classic that every kid nowadays should definitely read. hey, those books got my brother hooked on reading although he likes that funny/silly series called Otto Undercover by: Rhea Perlman)
Favourite Manga (although I'll probably never write fanfics for these since most of them aren't done yet):
Carcaptor Sakura By: CLAMP, Tsubasa By: CLAMP, xxxHolic By: CLAMP, Naruto, One Piece, Gaukuen Alice, Skip Beat, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Whistle!
I was so upset when Onemanga stopped working because of a lawsuit from manga publishers ( so sad, It's hard to find manga online these days)
Book topics that are either old, getting old, just plain annoying since to many people write about it (but then again if these topics didn't exist, what would people have left to write about):
-Some Random Girl’s life
-Some Random Loser turned not loser’s life
Books that people should write more Fanfics on:
Endymion Spring by: Matthew Skelton (there are 0 and I repeat 0 fanfics for this book. maybe since it doesn't really have alot of romance in it)
Airman by: Eoin Colfer (the same author as Artemis Fowl. This book is mainly targeted for boys but its a really good adventure with a pinch of science book)
Airhead by: Meg Cabot (I'm pretty sure this was one of the first books to come out about medical horrors of the future, but the book is also a bit girly (not too much))
Discovered this a few weeks ago...
If anyone wants to use this idea for a funny fic (one-shot most likely) feel free. And dont forget to PM me so I can read and review it! :)
