Hey all, this is your friendly neighborhood lay-about TKB17

Its been awhile since I've posted anything here, and not much has changed since then (besides the Harry Potter fandom becoming so full of slash thats its now neigh impossible to not stumble across it. Can we have a filter already?). I'm still male, still lazy, and still obsessed with reading.

I started reading fanfiction early 2010 (God I was young then...) and decided then I wanted to write. Of course, my first fic was written the summer of my 7th grade year and never finished. Writers block, then marching band (It's a sport, damnit!) and then time passed made me ultimately abandon it. Maybe I'll get back to it. It can't possibly be worse then what Paolini wrote...

After that I never stopped. I have more then 700 pages of various hand written fics covering everything from Bleach and Naruto to Harry Potter and Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. Needa challenge? I've got something you can use.

Current interests are getting a degree in Nursing, then getting a job.

My main fandoms (for those of you who want to PM me for a challenge) are: Harry Potter, Bleach, Naruto, Dresden Files, Castle, Firefly, NCIS, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Mass Effect, Halo, Twilight (though I hate the way she wrote them, almost all of the canon characters, the main paring, and the ending, its still a decent idea with some intriguing aspects.), Lord of the Rings (books, not the movies...though those are good too...), Sekeri, Kim Possible, and several more.

I have no issue with Yaoi if the characters are legitimately gay, or if its in the background. I don't see any of that on this site though, and I despise Mpreg with a fucking passion.

I also dislike Orihime/Ichigo simply because I have yet to see it done right, most NaruSaku fics (because shes a psychotic bitch for most of it and still mostly useless), Most NaruHina fics (because they usually just throw the two of them together within a chapter of two, and I dislike her character) and Harry/Ginny fics (because we saw no hint of that coming in canon, just suddenly Harry feeling all possessive and jealous. I am CONVINCED she drugged him.)

What I like to see is Harry/Hermione(when its thought out) or Harry/Tonks. The rest of the HP pairings I take case by case.

In Naruto I'm pretty much okay with anything not mentioned above, though I have seen both done right once or twice, but I prefer to see him with someone a little older. (Fem!Haku, Tenten, ect).

In Twilight, and call me a hypocrite if you must, my favorite paring by far is Bella/Alice. Sue me.

In Kim Possible, still a hypocrite, my favorite paring is Kim/Shego...though thats almost canon.

Halo is John/Cortona, though I'm still a little weirded out by seeing a SPARTAN II in any sort of romantic relationship considering all thats happened to them. Relating to the civvies, and hell, even other soldiers, makes me wonder how on earth they will ever relate to someone who isn't another SPARTAN II...and much of the characterization and abilities I see about them in fanfiction make me question if those authors have ever read any of the books... (For example, a SPARTAN almost never misses unless providing cover fire, or their aim is thrown off by outside forces. They also can run, with the aid of their armor, 50 miles an hour in a sprint, and are strong enough that they would probably be able to throw a Warthog a decent amount of distance...and yet I almost never see any of these facts in fanfiction.)

The rest of it either has canon relationships I don't mind, or I don't feel particularly passionate about it.
