Author has written 8 stories for Harry Potter, Ouran High School Host Club, Doctor Who, and Protector of the Small Quartet.
Well, now that I've actually published a story, I should probably write something about myself. First, some info about my pen name: My favorite character in the Harry Potter series is Luna Lovegood. Since I'm assuming that got taken a loooooong time ago (or is copyrighted and therefore not allowed), I mixed it up a little. Stella means star (like Luna means moon), 'mal' is Latin for bad (think malicious), and 'odi' is Latin for hate (think odious). So really, my pen name should have been Stella Odimal (Hatebad), but Malodi (Badhate) just sounds so much better, don't you think?
The reasoning behind the pen name is, incidentally, the reason the photo is inverted.
Fun fact: The picture is actually one of me, taken right before my senior year of high school. I looked rather a lot like Luna Lovegood then (in my opinion), and the standard pictures from the movies didn't invert well, which is why I'm using an old-ish picture of myself.
Speaking of old-ish: my older stories, "Hermione Granger and the Plot with Plot Devices" and "The Headmaster's Prank" are 1) not really stories and 2) kind of embarrassing (in the way that old writing tends to be). I would not recommend them. Honestly, I'd take them down, but I hate it when authors do that, so all I will do is warn you away from them. "Souls Are Eternal: On Horcruxes" is better, but not great. Anything published after "Surprise" should be fine, with actual story-like qualities (though I can't promise much in the way plot; they're basically plotless fluff). So read those, and leave the others alone. :D
Now for something that's actually related to me as an author!
I tend to like weird, non-canon pairings. I definitely wouldn't call them OTPs, because they aren't pairing I wish would have happened in the official series. Usually I know that there's absolutely no way that they would have actually happened. I just like to see what they might have looked like. I like to see what sort of a relationship (and...well, I think 'courtship' might be the best word here) they might have had. I believe I have only two actual, this-should-have-been-the-canon OTPs. They are Mori/Haruhi (Ouran High School Host Club) and Rose/Doctor (Doctor Who) (What I mean by this is that Rose should have stayed. That is the non-canon part of my OTP. However, it's a sad reality of TV shows that sometimes actors have to leave and do other things, so their characters have to leave and do other things, too. But if it had been a book series, or some other medium that doesn't depend on the actors' availability... Rose/Doctor for all of that forever she promised him.)
7/26/13: I officially have a writing partner! CatrinaSL and I have officially published our first joint project. We will be writing many more stories together (hopefully!), but the first is being published on her profile. It's called "The Unbroken Vase." It's an Ouran High School Host Club fic in which– big shocker here– Haruhi doesn't break the vase. It's a fun fluff-fest, and worth checking out, if you like OHSHC.
10/17/13: CatrinaSL and I are publishing our co-authored stories on a joint account! You can find it here. That's the account we're using to post Unexpectedly Wonderful, our new Fruits Basket fic! It's a series of oneshots, most of which feature Tohru with someone unusual. (There are a couple of non-romantic oneshots, too.) If you like Fruits Basket and weird pairings, check it out!
4/17/16: I'm on AO3! I have been for the last six months or so, actually, but I'm just now getting around to cross-posting things.
