![]() Author has written 32 stories for Star Wars, StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, StarTrek: Voyager, StarTrek: Other, Harry Potter, Cats, StarTrek: The Next Generation, 9, South Park, Battle Royale, My Little Pony, and A song of Ice and Fire. 11/12/11: As you can see to the left, for the first time in like... ever, I've changed my profile picture. That's me posing for a picture. I'm trying to grow a mustache. About me: Name: Mike Gender: Male Age: 23 Hobbies: Cooking, writing mysteries, constructing items (in an engineering sense), swimming, running, theatre, acting, singing. (Not really much of a sports person) Interests: lots of sci-fi, Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice & Fire/Game of Thrones, Star Trek, Star Wars, Harry Potter, Good Eats, South Park, a variety of musicals. My favorite musical is CATS. I'm also in some ways a sucker for classic Disney films. I mean the ones like Beauty And The Beast, The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Mulan, etc. I'm talking about the ones that actually mean something, not all that despicable bullshit you see on TV nowadays, like those second-rate (more like eleventh-rate) shows and movies like Hannah Montana, iCarly, High School Musical, and a multitude of other garbage. In fact, I'm making a vow that when I have children, I will never let them watch the terrible Disney-oriented shows and movies of modern day. If there's anything Disney-related I'll let them watch, it will be the animated classics! Those movies actually teach valuable lessons, and some character goes from being cynical, arrogant, and/or egocentric to being optomisstic, humble, and/or altruistic. Whereas the modern Disney shows accomplish nothing except waste one's time, and the cynical, arrogant, and/or egocentric characters stay that way. (Okay, I'm done raving now. On with the rest of my profile) Other miscellaneous information about me: I was born in Denver, Colorado, but I've lived in northern Texas most of my life. Currently, I'm living and studying at the University of Texas at Dallas. While I respect all nationalities and cultures, I must say that I am PROUD to be an American. Here's a list of my top 50 favorite movies: (Note: this is subject to change) 50. The Usual Suspects (1995) 49. The Avengers (2012) 48. The Odd Couple (1968) 47. City of God (2002) 46. Things I Want To Do Before I Die: See "Starlight Express" on stage Get married and have at least one child (Preferably before I'm 30) Do something memorable (In a good way) Attend BronyCon Oh, I forgot to mention; I'm a Brony! I've been a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic since July of 2012. It's an incredible show, and I have to admit, it's much more well-written than most of the other series that run on the air these days. My top 10 favorite characters are: Applejack (best pony without a single buckin' doubt), Sunset Shimmer (Sure in EQG 1 she was a bitch, but in EQG 2, she was freakin' adorable, and in EQG 3... she went beyond admirable), Twilight Sparkle, Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, Fluttershy, Sweetie Belle, Big McIntosh, Cheese Sandwich, Sonata Dusk Currently, I'm working on an MLP fanfic entitled "Fortune Favors The Bold." It's going to be my version of the whole series, except Princess Celestia has a son, and threats are constantly being posed against Equestria. Here are a list of some of my most prominent pony OCs. I include their names, their physical appearances, and who I would imagine would voice them. Bronze Star Race: Alicorn (disguised as Earth Pony) Coat Color: Gold Mane Color: Maroon Eye Color: Silver Occupation: Prince of Equestria/Canterlot's Ambassador to Ponyville Description: (will be added soon) Voiced By: Elijah Wood SIG Sauer Race: Unicorn Coat Color: Pine Green Mane Color: Orange Eye Color: Teal Occupation: Royal Guard Trainer/Commanding Officer of Special Ops Unit Firebrand Regiment Description: (will be added soon) Voiced By: Keifer Sutherland Bellerophon Race: Pegasus Coat Color: Palomino Mane Color: White Eye Color: Azure Occupation: Canterlot Castle Chief of Staff Description: (will be added soon) Voiced By: Harrison Ford Noble Edict Race: Earth Pony Coat Color: Red Mane Color: Lilac Eye Color: Grey Occupation: Ponyville Chief of Security Description: (will be added soon) Voiced By: Angelina Jolie Mauser Sauer Race: Unicorn Coat Color: Jasper Mane Color: Lime Green with Charcoal Stripes Eye Color: Melon Occupation: Constabulary Contingent Soldier Description: (will be added soon) Voiced By: Andrew Garfield Alpine Sauer Race: Unicorn Coat Color: Chartreuse Mane Color: Cerise with Jade Stripes Eye Color: Peach Occupation: Student At The Canterlot School For Gifted Unicorns Description: (will be added soon) Voiced By: Jennifer Lawrence Walther Race: Pegasus Coat Color: Mahogany Mane Color: Blue-Gray Eye Color: Brass Occupation: Wonderbolt/Intelligence Bureau Operative/Executive Officer of Special Ops Unit Firebrand Regiment Description: (will be added soon) Voiced By: Tom Cruise I have many more OCs, but as of right now, these seven play the largest role in "Fortune Favors The Bold." My favorite quote from the movie "9" is the opening lines: "We had such potential... such promise. But we squandered our gifts, our intelligence. Our blind pursuit of technology only sped us quicker to our doom. Our world is ending. But life... must go on." -The Scientist I have a great appreciation for musical theatre . Some of my favorite characters include: Skimbleshanks, Munkustrap, Rum Tum Tugger (CATS) Kevin Price, Arnold Cunningham (The Book of Mormon) Seymour (Little Shop of Horrors) Danny (Grease) Billy Bigelow, Enoch Snow (Carousel) Che (Evita) Frankie Valli (The Jersey Boys) Mark (RENT) Joseph (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat) Sam Carmichael (Mamma Mia!) And many more! South Park is one of my favorite shows. It's fuckin' brilliant with all its satire and dry-wit. My favorite episodes include: "The Biggest Douche in the Universe" "Broadway Bro Down" "Cartman Finds Love" "Cartman Joins NAMBLA" "Child Abduction is Not Funny" "City Sushi" "The Death of Eric Cartman" "The F Word" "I Should Have Never Gone Ziplining" "Imaginationland" "Lil' Crime Stoppers" "Make Love, Not Warcraft" "Pinkeye" "Quest for Ratings" "Scott Tenorman Must Die" "The Snuke" "Towelie" "Two Days before the Day after Tomorrow" "Whale Whores" Here's a list of my top 10 favorite characters (other than the four main ones) in alphabetical order: Bebe Butters Chef Clyde Craig Ike Randy Red Sharon Wendy Stan is actually my favorite character in the entire show. He's the one I can most relate to! Like I said before, my favorite musical of all time is CATS. One thing I really love about it is how there are no official canon pairings. That way, you get to believe who is mates with who, as long as you keep it realistic. This is what I believe in terms of the pairings: Munkustrap/Demeter Quaxo Mistoffelees/Victoria (Perhaps the best pairing of them all) Skimbleshanks/Jennyanydots Asparagus/Jellylorum Mungojerrie/Rumpleteazer Old Deuteronomy/Grizabella (Before she left the Tribe) Alonzo/Cassandra Growltiger/Griddlebone Pouncival/Bombalurina Rum Tum Tugger/Any-damn-queen-he-wants Rum Tum Tugger/Bombalurina (In some cases) Plato/Electra Admetus/Etcetera Tumblebrutus/Jemima Coricopat/Tantomile (incest is not frowned upon when you're a cat!) Rum Tum Tugger/Exotica There are very few pairings I dislike. Notable ones are as follows: Plato/Victoria Coricopat/Rumpleteazer Mungojerrie/Tantomile Rum Tum Tugger/Quaxo Mistoffelees (Just because John Partridge and Jacob Brent are both gay, it DOESN'T FUCKING MEAN that Tugger and Misto are gay!) Now, in terms of the actual family relationships: Old Deuteronomy and Bustopher Jones are brothers. Old Deuteronomy is the father of Munkustrap, Rum Tum Tugger, and Macavity. Grizabella is the mother to all three of them as well. Bustopher Jones is the father of Coricopat and Tantomile. Macavity is the father of both Alonzo and Quaxo Mistoffelees. Macavity's mate is unknown, but in my story "Magic Meets Love," I provide a theory to the reasons for that. Bombalurina and Demeter are sisters. Their parents are unknown amongst the canon characters. Munkustrap and Demeter are the parents of Electra. Skimbleshanks and Jennyanydots are the parents of Rumpleteazer, Victoria, and Jemima. Gus The Theatre Cat is the father of Asparagus. Asparagus and his mate, Jellylorum, are the parents of Tumblebrutus, Pouncival, and Etcetera. Despite the fact that Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer look alike, I believe they are mates. Plato and Admetus are brothers; Cassandra and Exotica are sisters. Admetus is the Rumpus Cat. Note: Everything above IS what I believe, but I may slightly alter it in some of my future fanfics. But regardless of the modifications I make, everything above is what I believe. Here's a list of the OC cats I've created in my CATS fanfics (I've got a great many so far, but a lot of them play very minor roles): Ancient Leviticus - A large tom with brown, shaggy fur. Macavity takes her in to work as a henchcat, but she is rather incompetent at the work. Appears in: "The Boatswain," "Choices" Malpora - A brown queen with partly shaggy fur. If you think Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer are MATES and not sibblings, copy and paste this into your profile. I prefer solitude over company. Copy and paste this in your profile if you feel the same. One thing that really ticks me off is people who hate CATS. Most of those people have the most pathetic excuse in the world: The musical's only about cats. Obviously the musical is too complex for their pathetic little brains to comprehend. Anyone who hates CATS should probably get his or her head examined. One thing I must say yet again: I would recommend CATS to anyone. It is the greatest musical of all time. I LOVE Star Trek. My favorite series is definitely The Next Generation. Here are my most and least favorite characters from each of the series: The Original Series- Most Favorite: Commander Montgomery Scott (Best Chief Engineer from any of the series. He's quite a "miracle worker," isn't he?) Least Favorite: Lieutenant Hikaru Sulu (It was actually hard to pick this one, but in the end, I decided it would be Sulu. He's just not that interesting a character.) The Next Generation- Most Favorite: Lieutenant Commander Data (Who doesn't love Data? He's hilarious when he doesn't even realize it, and he's just incredible as an artifical lifeform who serves as the Second Officer.) Least Favorite: Commander William Riker (except for the first season. It's Dr. Beverly Crusher for the first season. But from seasons 2-7, the first thing I thought of whenever I saw him was "give yourself a shave." Not only did the amount of hair on his face change in-between seasons 1 and 2, but his personality did as well. In quite a few negative ways, I might add.) Deep Space Nine- Most Favorite: Constable Odo (I LOVE how Odo is always trying to catch Quark in the act of a crime. I am also fascinated by his shape-shifting abilities.) Least Favorite: Jake Sisko (Why did they even make him a fulltime castmember? He's not even in half the episodes. And whenever he's around, it's mostly just monotonous filler.) Voyager- Most Favorite: Lieutenant Tom Paris (He reminds about myself in some ways: rebellious, but loyal; protective, but caring; and he holds family in high regard. But there are some differences between him and me. The most significant one is that I don't have a criminal record.) Least Favorite: The Doctor (Why? Well, let's see here... he's condescending, he's rude, he never shuts up, his talks like an uneducated person, and he's just a moron inside and out. If I were Janeway, I would have deleted him shortly after "Message In A Bottle.") Enterprise- I've just started watching Enterprise. I'll say my most and least favorite after I've finished the series. I love Star Trek so much, that I'm making my own Star Trek fanfiction spin-off. The very first episode is entitled Humble Beginnings, and it has a new crew. There will be eleven main characters in it. The chief main character: Captain Michael Larson- Just thirteen years after he graduated from Starfleet Academy, Larson is given the position of CO on a prototype starship. This certain vessel just so happens to be the largest Federation starship ever built: The USS Champion. The other ten main characters: Lieutenant Nicholas Casey- A man who is easily categorized as skillful and brawnly, but gentle at the same time, Casey is onboard the Champion as the Chief Conn Officer. Lieutenant Tymar Halrinso- A serious, no-nonsense Bolian, Halrinso takes the positions of Third Officer and Security Chief. Ensign Cheryl Hopkins- A brilliant linguistics expert who just graduated from the Academy, Hopkins comes on board to be Communications Officer. Dr. Keller- The prototype of the EMH Mark XV series, Keller assumes the responsibilities of Chief Medical Officer. Lieutenant Seth Marquez- The first human to become a father before entering Starfleet at the traditional age of 18, Marquez and his teenage daughter, Diana, come onboard where the former accepts the position of Chief Engineer. Ensign Nobema- The first Romulan to enter Starfleet, Nobema takes on the role as the Champion's Operations Officer. Lieutenant Miral Paris- The quarter-Klingon daughter of two well-renowned Starfleet Admirals, Paris serves under Captain Larson as Tactical Officer. Dr. Rizux- A member of a new species I invented known as the Crenarans, an inherently hostile but accepting race, Rizux works as the vessel's Science Officer. Commander Ashley Sanderson- An officer who was once given a controversial ten-month sentence in a holding cell for violating the Prime Directive, Sanderson starts to regain her positive image from before the violation when Larson makes her the ship's First Officer. Lieutenant Commander Patrick Wood- Perhaps the most intelligent Human known to have existed, with an IQ of over 500 points, Wood functions as Second Officer and Counselor. So please Read it and Review it! |
