Author has written 6 stories for Fire Emblem, and Twilight.
Hey everyone! I'm Moon Howler Wolf, formerly known as Sothe Sage.
Now for a little background info on me- My first attempt at fanfiction was a Fire Emblem fic titled 'From Ashes of War' which was originally inspired by beckylynn's 'Transformed'. I wrote this out on paper, and as I typed it up, I was disheartened by the low number of hits, especially seeing as I spent at least a half hour typing up each chapter, as well as the fact that five pages of writing was reduced to nothing more than about six hundred words, nothing compared to the thousand-word chapters of my favorite authors.
Then I started branching my fanfiction horizons, eventually reaching into 'The Legend of Zelda' series, followed by the 'Persona' series. Then I dabbled in 'Wolf's Rain' and 'dothack' for a short time before I found Twilight a few years ago.
I was captured by the story (Mainly the wolfpack, gotta love those guys!) and decided that I needed to contribute to this huge fandom. So 'Let the Sunshine In' was my first attempt at a JacobxBella fic. I quickly abandoned that project as soon as I realized that I was essentially going to be retelling the Twilight Saga, just with a few minor differences. Who knows how it might've gone had I stuck with it? I don't know. Then I was sucked into a subgenre of the Twilight fandom- Wolf!Bella. Upon discovering the lack of this genre, I immediately started work on a new fic, which at the time was under the working title 'Call of the Forest', lovingly called by me COFT. I ran it by my BETA at the time, Elison, and she thought the name fit, so it stayed.
Since then I've written a few oneshots, one of which was entered in the Truly Anonymous Twific contest. I've also begun writing some OF, which may be a reason for lack-of-updates.
I enjoy writing, and hope that you all enjoy reading my passion as much as I enjoy writing it.
Carol of the Bells
Call of the Forest:
Wow, this place sure is dusty...
Never fear, I haven't forgotten about this place, not that I ever could--FF has been such a huge part of my life, but in the past few years, I've actually gotten a social life and have been bogged down by writer's block and challenging classes, not to mention the demise of JBNP and many of my favorite authors hanging up their pens so to speak.
Twilight was such a huge part of my life, and played such a huge role into shaping me into the person I am today.
This sounds so much like a eulogy, but trust me, it isn't.
Most of you know about my participation inf NaNoWriMo, and this year I plan to rewrite CotF, if everything goes to plan. But If it doesn't work out that way, I WILL rewrite my first completed fic eventually. I also plan on finishing Carol of the Bells eventually too. I haven't forgotten about any of you.
See you all soon.
I'm probably going to do another overhaul soon, but for now- an new story announcement! Libra will make it's debut in a couple weeks.
Advent calender time!!!
I'll try to work ahead so I can update every single day for you guys.
I'm sorry for the hiatus, but it'll probably continue for another week- I'm pushing through the end of Call of the Forest and fighting against starting my Camp NaNo novel early, and attempting to write Choir of Wolves at the same time... ARGH!!!!
Forgot to post the massive overhaul of my profile, so yeah...
I'm so sorry for not uploading the new fic on Christmas!
I just got caught up in reading other fanfiction, that I totally forgot about it.
I plan to start uploading once I put the finishing touches on the banner that I made for it.
It won't be much longer-I promise...
This is shaping up to be my most active month here on FF.net!
On the 25th I will be releasing my newest, 'secret' fic-Call of the Forest.
This fic will be updated daily, as I have written 17 chapters thus far.
I hope you will enjoy it as much as my beta.
I'm working on a Christmas present for my friends currently, so I won't be able to update for a while.
See ya later =D
Sorry I've been gone for this long!
But truth to be told, I'm working on a top-secret fanfic that I'm releasing idontknow when.
LTSI has been posted! Paradise and .hack will hopefully resume after Christmas.
I'm planning to update LTSI as I update, while Paradise and .hack will be every other week-alternating with each other.
Sorry for the long hiatus, I was doing NaNoWriMo, and I now have a 53000 word novel that I love! I'm also writing a squeal, as well as starting to write a Twilight fanfic.
Paradise and .hack//offriendsandfoes will be updated after Christmas.
'May our parting be sweet, and our reunion even sweeter.'
I am sadly saying that all of my old stories are now dead. I tried the best I could to keep them alive, but I couldn't hang on any longer. I will be going into a regular updating schedule with Paradise alternating with .hack//offriendsandfoes-which will be uploaded next week.
Gomen for any disappointment, I am truly sorry.
Alright, Profile Overhaul GO!
Umm... Dead stories will not be removed from above any longer. I am kind of learning how to type, but I have too much to do. As of right now, ALL non-dead stories are on HIATUS until I get more time. I've been reading other fanfiction and getting ideas from them. This is testing season in Washington State, and the fact that I am in a rigorous program doesn't help at all. My schedule will be full til Late May/Early June. This time, a proverb I'm making up.
'With love comes hate. With acceptance, rejection. And for the better good, Consequences and loss.'
Hey everyone, more fanfiction to come! I honestly CANNOT keep any of the deadlines I set, or type fast. Please bear with me, I have a busy life (Not really). Small updates. I will be freeer during summer, so CUE PROVERB!!!
'Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why we call it the present.'
P.S. My own heart, UNLOCK!

WHAT A KISS MEANS
Kiss on the stomach = "I'm ready"
What the gesture means...
are like apples
on trees. The best ones
are at the top of the tree.
The boys don't want to reach
for the good ones because they
are afraid of falling and getting hurt.
Instead, they just get the rotten apples
from the ground that aren't as good,
but easy.So the apples at the top think
something is wrong with them, when in
reality, they're amazing. They just
have to wait for the right boy to
come along, the one who's
brave enough to
climb all the way
to the top
of the tree.
