Author has written 2 stories for Twilight.
I'm an avid reader.
Some of the most clever and engaging works I've ever read have been on FFN. It's amazing how many talented writers contribute.
All-human Twilight romance and humor stories are my favorites, particularly those featuring Edward and Bella. Usually I only care for those that stick to a single character's point of view. On that note, I'm in awe of writers who can do a convincing Edward's POV.
I'm a recent writer, and post both here and on The Writer's Coffee Shop with the same pen name. I know how frustrating it is to get hooked on a story that stops updating and remains in an in-progress state. So as a writer, I pledge to always complete a work to a finished state, even if I don't know how I want to finish it when I start the piece. As a writer, I also know how frustrating it is to publish and receive limited feedback relative to the number of people who read. So as a reader, I pledge to review.
Here are some basic stats about me, without giving too much away because I appreciate the anonymity of FFN:
I do not now live in Seattle, but I have lived in several places in the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle. I have also lived in parts of the midwestern USA, and am quite familiar with a few cities there. I've travelled extensively around the world for school, work, and vacations, with work taking me to more places than the others. I still do some travel for work, but thankfully not nearly as much as I once did. Travel sounds glamorous and elements of it are wonderful. I appreciate the experiences I've had. The downside is that frequent travel for extended periods is tiring and disruptive to my family life, so now I appreciate time at home more.
I'm happily married and have a wonderful child. In general we are a happy family. We have pets. We camp occasionally. We travel. We talk with each other. We like to spend time together.
I work full-time, not in publishing but not too far removed from that world either. I like my job and career, and feel satisfied with what I've accomplished in my professional life.
I don't watch much television, but there was a time in my life when I did. Now, I mainly read.
I like to swim. I like baths. I like to soak in the hot tub. I like the ocean and walking on beaches. I guess I'm a water person, yet I get sea sick easily and avoid boating activities unless I'm knocked out on Dramamine.
I like to cook but not bake.
I like power tools and am handy at home repair and renovation.
I like to drive, but never in a country where they do so on the left side of the road. That's what taxis and public transportation are for.
