Author has written 690 stories for Supernatural.
Greetings from the UK, from the county of Berkshire not far from a town called Ascot (that's right, where the Queen goes to the races at Royal Ascot every June). She never calls in to see me though. :(
My friends call me Dizzo - among other things - but my Mum and Dad call me Jane.
Life on Planet Dizzo is fun and simple and really quite unremarkable. I am blessed with a fantastic family, a wonderful husband and excellent health; I love to draw and paint, read, write, ride horses and travel.
I am a woman of simple tastes - a nice large glass of New Zealand Sauvingnon Blanc and a naughty joke is all I need to put a smile on my face :) I have a steel rod in my arm, a tattoo of a rabbit on my back and a warped sense of humour.
I only read and write Supernatural stories; it's the only programme I care about enough to bare my soul by writing for, but I love our show for a number of reasons:
I love Dean Winchester. Don't get me wrong, Sam is adorable; and I certainly wouldn't kick him out on a cold night, but Dean ... he reminds me of my favourite type of chocolates; all hard and crunchy on the outside and all soft, gooey and incredibly sweet on the inside (hey, and a face that melts ovaries at fifty paces - I forgot to mention that bit)! Two gorgeous, stunning guys in the same TV programme? Like I said, I love Supernatural.
I love Supernatural because it has inspired me to rediscover a love of creative writing that I had long since packed away and forgotten about due to the pressures of real life and lack of motivation.
And mostly I love Supernatural because of the amazing people from all over the world I have met through it both online and in the flesh (my fellow Hunter Girls - you know who you are). I am submerged deep into the Supernatural fandom; and as well as writing fan fiction, occasionally producing the odd piece of fan art and attending conventions, I have come to know and admire lots of lovely and scarily skilful people whilst trawling around in that deep and welcoming pool of talent.
My Muse is a demanding little tart, but between us we’ve got the hang of the sort of things I like and don't like to do:
I love to do humour, which normally involves giving Dean a hard time or getting his clothes off; in fact I am slightly concerned about the proportion of my stories that involve Dean losing most (or all) of his clothing - I'm starting to think I may need to get my hormones looked at ...
I love to make Dean's tough guy mask slip;
I love the boys' banter;
I love Bobby to tiny itty bitty pieces;
I won't EVER kill our beautiful boys - no, no, no, I couldn't do that!
I won't ever 'slash' the boys. I don't have a problem with slash at all, I've read quite a lot and enjoyed most of it ;) but I like to think of the boys as the red-blooded males that we all know they are and to be honest, wincest just doesn't really float my boat!
And so that’s me … it's good to know you!
