Author has written 4 stories for Labyrinth.
OK, I suppose we all have to begin somewhere... but really where do you start?
You may have gathered by now my passion lies with a certain David Bowie film - what can I say? I was of an impressionable age and it really should of come with a health warning for young girls - or at least Bowie’s wardrobe should have.
Anyway, after years of successfully keeping the Goblin King in check, he’s finally broken free and is demanding I try my hand at writing something (he obviously never read my old college thesis or he wouldn’t ask). I’ve decided to ease myself into this gently by doing some of the challenges on the Fangirl Harem first. I've also got some 100 word drabbles over in the Labyfic community on Livejournal that I may end up expanding on here.
I'm in the UK, so we spell some things a little differently, mainly add ‘U’ to words (colour/color), swap ‘Z’ with ‘S’ (cozy/cosy), that kind of thing. ;)
Variations on a Theme
Part of the 100 Themes Challenge on the Fangirl Harem. Basically you choose a number from the list of 100 themes and then write something that relates to it. Really should have been a series of unrelated one-shots, but I was having fun with it so I'm trying to link the chapters together instead to read like a loose story (but without the same level of detail). I'll continue to do so until I write myself into a corner, then I'll have to start another set of linked stories or some one-shots. With 100 themes to go through, it's going to be a continuing project for some time - It's really just an excuse for me to write some silly fluff! I know it's been a while, but I really do plan on writing more.
Again this was written as a one-shot for the 100 Themes Challenge, but I got to the end and didn't want to let it go quite yet. I think it works fine as it is, but I would like to add another chapter or two someday. I have it planned out (in my head), the evenings events from Jareth's POV and then another where they met.
The Price of a Bicycle
Challenge on the Jareth/Bowie Fangirl Harem. Elements to include: A bicycle, pinecones, swans, and a phonebook. Complete.
The King's Knight: Sir Didymus's Classic Tale of Honour and Adventure… (The "Good Parts" Version, Abridged by His Majesty, Jareth The Goblin King).
Written as a gift fic for the Labyrinth Fic Exchange 2011 over on Livejournal, though tweaked a little since then. From the prompt: A story in which Sir Didymus bravely embarks on an epic quest...to find Jareth's pants. A homage to another classic 80's fantasy, The Princess Bride. ;) Complete.

And, the Labyrinth Fic Exchange over on Livejournal. Some great stories over there. http://labyrinth-ex.livejournal.com/profile?admins=owner&socconns=friends
Also, I've finally put some stuff up on Deviantart too. http://wizzcat.deviantart.com
