Author has written 9 stories for Mai HiME, Blue Drop, and So-Ra-No-Wo-To/ソ・ラ・ノ・ヲ・ト.
I tend not to write much about myself, so this profile has been ''forthcoming,'' for quite a while.
I find myself moved to write fan-fiction when I find a show whose characters resonate with me, and whose ending leaves my muse saying, ''wait, do not go. There is more; it will come to you.'' But she is fickle and does not always follow these promptings with the rest of the story, so only a small fraction of those stories end up complete enough to post here.
I don't start posting a story until it is mostly complete. Part of that comes from my tendency not to write them in order, and also to go back and rework earlier parts to better fit the story as a whole. It would be both confusing and rude to subject you to reading in such a disjointed order.
So far, three series have tickled my muse enough to yield actual stories.
Mai HiME (6 stories)
Shizuru and Natsuki captured my interest (and my muse's). All of these stories are set in the same continuity and follow their story after the end of the TV series. Here they are, in order of occurrence.
''Rebirth of Love: Musings of a Recovering Yandere'': In which Shizuru tells of the events following the Carnival. The end of the Carnival left both she and Natsuki with unresolved issues. She tells how they work on these issues as well as their developing relationship, sharing a good deal of her thoughts in the process.
"Midwife of the Soul": In which Natsuki tells her side of the events following the Carnival. She tells how she worked through understanding her own thoughts and feelings about Shizuru as their relationship developed. This complements Shizuru's telling her side in "Rebirth of Love: Musings of a Recovering Yandere".
''New Year, New Life'': This comes after ''Rebirth of Love,'' telling more of how Shizuru and Natsuki get on with life after Shizuru's graduation. This story has less drama and more ''happy, fluffy'' content. I wrote it when after I had read too many ''all angst, no happiness'' stories and my brain revolted.
''Child of Doubt'': Set during ''New Year, New Life,'' specifically between chapters 7 and 8. Natsuki has to cope with a crisis of confidence.
''Home of the Heart'': Another vignette set during ''New Year, New Life,'' specifically during chapter 9. Natsuki needs to figure out where she will live after graduating High School, as the Fuuka High dorms will no longer be an option.
''Rebirth'': I only include this here for historical interest. I've rewritten it as ''Rebirth of Love'', which I think tells the story much better. Please read that instead. This was my first Mai HiME fan-fiction, and I would like to think I've improved some.
Blue Drop (2 stories)
I enjoyed the cast of Blue Drop enough that I wanted to see what happened to them after the end of the series How do Mari, Michi and friends deal with those events? This is split into two parts: the first, ''Blue Drop: Angel's Partner'', is set on Earth; the second, ''Blue Drop: Angel's Home'', is set on Arume.
Sora no Woto (1 story)
The world of Sora no Woto is bittersweet, yet the 1121st and the people of Seize have created a place it is a joy to live. ''Sora no Ato'' explores the paths that the various members of the 1121st take and how the events of the series have affected them.
