Author has written 2 stories for Fifty Shades Trilogy, and Star Trek: 2009.
Not much to say about myself. I recently made the switch from working mother to stay at home mom. I'm enjoying the June Cleaver gig for now. I became a Twihard when I watched Twilight on a whim and then four more times that weekend. I bought the books on Kindle and read them straight through and then I bought them in hardback and read them again. I discovered fan fiction while reading one of SM's extras/outtakes, she mentioned that she wrote it as a joke to submit under a pseudonym to a Twilight fan fiction writing contest, but her submission got lost on the interwebs. I immediately did a Google search and I've been hooked on fan fiction ever since.
I recently ventured into the Star Trek fandom (Sarek/Amanda and Spock/Uhura) when I read a Twilight/Star Trek:2009 crossover by Cupcakeriot, which is surprising since I was a Trekkie long before I became a Twihard.
I'm interested in becoming a Beta or pre-reader, but I'm currently not eligible under the fanfiction dot net guidelines, because I have not as yet submitted a sufficient number of stories. Although I find writing in general easy, creative writing is much more difficult than it seems. It's much easier to whisper advice from beside the keyboard than to test its merits at the tips of the swords of reader criticism (Identify that movie misquote).
For anyone interested in my skills as a Beta despite FF rules, I have 20 years of professional experience as a report and technical writer in my field, and 12 years of experience as an editor and publishing authority.
It appears I have much more to say about myself than I originally thought.
